Developers BioWare have announced that the Mass Effect Trilogy Collection will be coming to consoles and PC this November. All three titles will be released in a single trilogy collection for Xbox 360 and PC, with a PS3 version to follow. The three games have won over 300 awards and received over 200 perfect review scores between them.
The PlayStation 3 is getting the exclusive Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy this November, featuring all three of Ezio Auditore da Firenze’s legendary adventures: Assassin’s Creed II with all downloadable content, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. The trilogy is prefect for those who have missed his previous adventures. Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Connor, when it launches on October 30th.
Along with yesterday’s usual PlayStation Store update, the Store also received the first wave of PS3 Essentials titles. The Essentials collection features some of the best PS3 games at discounted prices, much like the PSP Essentials collection that launched a few years ago. Games in the collection start at just €14.99 / £9.99.
New content is available for PlayStation Plus subscribers in this week’s European PlayStation Store update, including 100% discount on Starhawk Campaign Mode. There are also a plenty of new PS3 and PS Vita titles to download, including FIFA 13 and F1 2012.
October is a huge month for PlayStation, with a plethora of AAA titles hitting store shelves over the next four weeks. SCEA has revealed that eight of the titles will be available on the PlayStation Network the same day the games hit retail, thorugh a new program called PSN Day 1 Digital.
The PlayStation Store has received a massive update in North America this week, with lots of new PS3 and PSN titles released, new pre-orders, PS3 and PS Vita demos and so much more to enjoy. Starhawk is available as a digital download, and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is available to purchase too.
The new “Super Slim” PS3, announced at TGS 2012, releases today in North America, and in a few days time in Europe. Check out the official unboxing video that gives you a look at the new bundle 250GB bundle pack which comes with Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition and lots of extras.
SCEE has revealed that Wonderbook: Book of Spells will be launching in PAL territories this November, very soon after it is released in North America. In addition, two PS3 bundles which include Wonderbook have been revealed by the company too.
Konami and Platinum games have released a new trailer for upcoming Metal Gear Solid spin-off title, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The five minute trailer shows new footage from the game, including Raiden protecting a African Prime Minister at a peace-keeping visit where a PMC attacks.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have more content to look forward to in North America later today as new content and games are added. Subscribers will be able to download the Starhawk single-player campaign and all DLC for free, and get discounts on Sega’s Hell Yeah! and Tokyo Jungle.
