Rockstar has revealed that Max Payne 3 will be getting more multiplayer DLC. The Hostage Negotiation Pack has been announced as next DLC pack, and will arrive at the end of this month. The pack will include four new multiplayer maps, a host of new weapons and items and a completely new avatar faction.
New PlayStation Store Experiencing Teething Issues
If you live in Europe but aren’t seeing the new PlayStation Store in your territory, don’t worry. Sony has postponed the launch of the new store in come territories after the roll-out yesterday didn’t go exactly as planned. “The phased launch of the new PlayStation Store has been temporarily postponed in some territories as teething issues related to the global roll-out of the Store are being addressed and resolved,” Sony said in a statement.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Launch Trailer Released
Treyarch has released the launch trailer for upcoming first-person shooter Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. The trailer shows new game footage, including a look at some of the tech from 2025 and a number of explosions. The game is scheduled for launch on November 13th 2012 on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
A-Men Now Available on PS3 with PS Vita Cross Play Support
Developer Bloober Team has teamed up with Namco Bandai Games to bring PS Vita title A-Men to the PS3, which is now available in Europe. This new version of the game is loaded with exciting new features, including full HD, new action‑based multiplayer modes, Cross Play with the PlayStation Vita version and more PSN trophies.
Re-Designed PlayStation Store [Video]
We’ve had a play around with the new re-designed PlayStation Store and have recorded it in action, so you can have a look. The re-designed store is available across PAL territories, and will be heading across the pond to North America next week. In addition, Sony has also released a walkthrough video showing the North American PlayStation Store.
EU PlayStation Store Update for October 17th 2012
This week on the (redesigned) European PlayStation Store you can again find a number of new PS3 titles, including Doom 3 BFG Edition and Sleeping Dogs. New PlayStation Plus content is also available, including early access to The Unfinished Swan and beta access to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
New PlayStation Store Is Now Live
Sony’s new PlayStation Store is now live on the PS3, requiring a 26MB update. The updated store, which was first revealed last week, takes a little longer to load up, but certainly makes a huge difference is both visual appearance and functionality. We’ll be uploading a video of the new Store in action shortly.
Hitman HD Collection Trophies Leak Online
The Hitman HD Collection on PlayStation 3 has never been officially confirmed, but it appears that the trophy list for the games have leaked online. The collection includes Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman 3: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money. The game was expected to release to release on October 15th, but the date has come and gone and Square-Enix still haven’t announced a PS3 release date.
DOOM 3 BFG Edition Launch Trailer Released
Doom 3: BFG Edition was released in North America yesterday, and Bethesda and id Software have released a launch trailer to celebrate the game’s release. Doom 3: BFG Edition includes Doom, Doom II, and the revamped Doom 3 along with all the DLC and 8 levels of brand new content entitled “The Lost Mission”.
US PlayStation Store Update for October 16th 2012
Lots of new PS3 games are available on the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including 007 Legends and DOOM 3 BFG Edition. PlayStation Plus subscribers can also download the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta, and anyone with a PS Vita can download it too. There is also plenty of new DLC, game videos, themes and other content to download too.
