Retro City Rampage has been available in North America for a few weeks now, but still remains to be seen in Europe. Brian Provinciano, the man behind Retro City Rampage, has tweeted that the European version of the game is ready for SCEE certification and will be available on the PlayStation Store soon. The game doesn’t have a exact release date, but hopefully the QA process will be smooth and we’ll see the game available in the next few weeks.
PS3 Sales Reach 70 Million Units Worldwide
In a press release this morning, Sony Computer Entertainment announced that sales for the PS3 have reached over 70 million units worldwide as of November 4th 2012. The milestone has been achieved in less than six years after the console was first launched in 2006. Sony’s PlayStation Move controller has also surpassed 15 million units as of November 11th 2012.
Kat and Emmett Join the All-Stars Battle Royale as DLC
SuperBot have revealed the first DLC characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and best of all they will be available for free. The two new characters joining the roster are Kat from Gravity Rush, and Emmett Graves from Starhawk. The DLC isn’t quite ready to be shown off, but it’s good to see the developers are already working on content for the game now that the game has gone gold.
EU PlayStation Store Update for Nov 14th 2012
This week on the European PlayStation Store you can find new games, including the digital version of Of Orcs And Men and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. PS Vita owners can download Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified. You can also find new playable demos, DLC content and other content.
The Walking Dead Episode 5 Releasing Next Week
Telltale Games has revealed that the fifth and final episode of The Waking Dead will be releasing in North America and Europe next week. The final episode will be online as part of the weekly PlayStation Store updates and will be available to download for free if you’ve purchased the season pass.
Grand Theft Auto V’s Second Official Trailer Released
Rockstar has released the second official trailer for GTA V, which will most likely be one of the biggest selling games of 2013 if the hype is anything to go by. The trailer shows some gameplay, cutscenes, and the three protagonists, which were first revealed by GameInformer last week.
US PlayStation Store Update for November 13th 2012
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is available to pre-order from the PlayStation Store this week, and new PlayStation Plus content has been added to the store too. On the PS Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is available to download. You can also find new game videos, DLC content, themes and more to download.
PlayStation All-Stars Available to Pre-Order on the PlayStation Store
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale releases next Tuesday on the PlayStation Network and across Stores, and the game is now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store. The game will be released as a “Day 1 Digital” title next week for $59.99 in North America, but this also includes the PS Vita version of the game too.
Sony Japan Warning Users About Custom Firmware on PS3
Sony Japan has posted up a message on their website warning users of the dangers of using custom firmware on their PS3 consoles, dubbing it “malware”. The message (according to Google Translate) also warns that using unofficial software breaks the console’s Terms of Use and may result is the user getting banned from the PlayStation Network.
US PlayStation Plus Update for November 13th 2012
