Naughty Dog’s new IP, The Last of Us, has got a new teaser trailer showing off more of the game, and revealing that there’s more to come on December 10th 2012, when the game’s Story trailer is revealed. The 30-second trailer only has a few seconds of footage.
Just a week after PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale entered the UK Games Chart at position 38, the title has completely dropped out of the charts. Even worst, the title sold less than PS Vita title Call Of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, which has received very poor reviews compared to All-Stars Battle Royale.

The first of Sony’s 12 Deals of Christmas is now available on the PlayStation Store. From today, until midnight on 7th December, you can get 33% off a 90-day PlayStation Plus subscription. A 90-day subscription usually costs £11.99/€14.99, but the deal will let gamers grab it for just £7.99/€9.99.

The PlayStation Network will be going offline on Monday afternoon for most of the night while maintenance work is carried out. In total, the PlayStation Network will be down for 9 hours, between 4pm and 1am the next morning. There hasn’t been any downtime recently, surprisingly.
A patent filing suggests that Sony are working on a new controller that combines the DualShock 3 controller and PlayStation Move into a snap-together / break-apart hybrid controller, combining the best of both. The patent was published yesterday and calls it a “hybrid separable motion controller” and is assigned to SCEA.
Sony has released the PS3 and PS Vita sales figures for last week, which includes Black Friday results. The two consoles combined sold 685,000 units from November 18th 2012 through to November 24th 2012, which is said to be a 9% increase over last year, including software and peripherals sales too.
Following on from last year’s 12 Deals of Christmas, Sony is offering the same promotion to gamers this year too. Starting on December 1st 2012, the PlayStation Store will get a incredible deal available for 48 hours, until a new deal replaces it. In total, the Store will have 12 different deals until Christmas Eve.
New discounts are available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in Europe this week, including a sale on GTA games. Lots of new games are available on the PS3 too, including Ratchet & Clank: QForce and Ace Combat Assault Horizon. You can also find other content, including game videos, DLC and avatars this week.
