Capcom has announced a delay to Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer companion game to Resident Evil Village. The game was announced back in January 2021, and was expected to launch alongside Resident Evil Village, until it was delayed to July 2021. Today’s announcement now delays the game further, into 2022 so the team can continue working on the game.

EA has announced that FIFA 22 will be releasing on the PS4 and PS5 on 1st October 2021, but the Ultimate Edition of the game will be available slightly earlier from 27th September. FIFA 22 will feature “groundbreaking” a new HyperMotion technology across every mode in the game, but this will only be available in the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia versions of the game.

Bethesda and developer Tango Gameworks have announced that PS5 exclusive GhostWire: Tokyo has been delayed to early 2022. The game was previously scheduled to release in October 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic has caused delays and the developer has pushed back the release to protect the health of staff.

The PlayStation Store charts for June 2021 has been released by Sony, detailing the top selling digital titles from the store last month. As expected, Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was the top selling title on the PS5 in both regions. On the PS4, Cyberpunk 2077 was the top seller after the game was reinstated on the PlayStation Store.

This is a minor update for the PS5, and according to the one-line release note, it improves system performance.
