The new DualShock 4 controller on the PS4 will work with a new and improved PlayStation Eye camera. The light strip on the controller will work with the stereo cameras on the PlayStation Eye to position the controller in 3D space, just like how the PlayStation Move works with the current PlayStation Eye, only the PS4 Eye will be much more accurate thanks to the dual cameras.
DualShock 4 Controller Revealed

The leaked photos of the supposed PS4 controller from last week and over the weekend are real. The DualShock 4 controller was revealed at the PlayStation Meeting in New York this evening, revealing a slightly modified version of the controller from the leaked images. The controller will feature a touch pad in the center of the controller, headphone jack and light strip to allow the stereo cameras to locate the controller in the room.
Multitude of PS4 Games and Third Party Partners Announced

Along with revealing the PS4 this evening, Sony has also announced and revealed a number of exclusive and exciting new titles to join the powerful console. New games include a entirely new game in the Killzone series called Shadow Fall, and an all new inFamous game with a new protagonist, a new city, and radically different powers. Killzone: Shadow Fall Video Uploaded Directly from PS4

Check out the first gameplay video from PS4 title Killzone: Shadow Fall, uploaded directly from the PS4 live at the PlayStation Meeting earlier this evening. The game looks amazing, and it’s all real-time. The chapter in the game is titled “Attack on Vekta City”.
The PS4 Specification Sheet

It’s real. Sony has revealed the PS4 earlier this evening at the PlayStation Meeting in New York. It’s a powerful machine to say the least, and most of the rumours around the console have been true. It’s got a X86 CPU, 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM and a secondary chip dedicated to uploading and downloading content. It’s even got a new controller: the DualShock 4. The new controller very closely resembles the leaked images from a few days ago.
Sony Announces the PS4 – First Look at the UI

Moments ago, Sony revealed the PS4. It will come with a x86 processor, 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM and build-in hard drive for storage. An all new DualShock 4 controller has also been revealed, featuring headphone jack, a new “share” button, light strip and refined controls. Check out the new PS4 UI below.
PlayStation World to Replace PSN and PlayStation Plus?

The highly anticipated PS4 event is just hours away, and more rumours about what to expect are appearing across the Internet. A recent rumour suggests that PlayStation Plus and the PlayStation Network will be replaced by a new service called PlayStation World. Kotaku reports that PS World will be modeled after Xbox Live, where most of the PS4’s online features will require premium subscription.

US PlayStation Store Update for February 19th 2013

A number of new PS3, PS Vita and PSP games are available on the PlayStation Store this week in North America, including Crysis 3 on the PS3 and Patapon 3 on the PS Vita. You can also find new PlayStation Plus content, which includes Vanquish and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, both free to download as part of the Instant Game Collection. Finally, you can find lots of new DLC, themes, game videos and more too.
Gaikai to Become PlayStation Cloud?

With Sony’s PlayStation Meeting just over 12 hours away, new information has come to light which reveals what Sony could be announcing tonight. Twitter user Superannuation has uncovered a few domain registration that points to the future of Gaikai, and more importantly, it’s new name. PS-Cloud.net, PlayStation-Cloud.org and PlayStation-Cloud.com have all been registered by Gaikai, suggesting the service will be rebranded as PlayStation Cloud.
