The release date for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII has been revealed, along with an electrifying new trailer ahead of E3 next week. The game continues from the previous two titles in the series, where the world of Gran Pulse is sinking into the sea and what remains is Nova Chrysalia. Playing as Lightning, it is your mission to save as many souls as possible, with only 13 days remaining until the end of the world.
EA Sports have revealed the first proper FIFA 14 trailer, as media embargos were lifted this morning. The game may not be next-gen quality, but it still looks amazing on current-gen consoles. Check out the new trailer below.
Naughty Dog has revealed more information about The Last of Us’ multiplayer mode, including a new trailer. The game’s multiplayer mode is called Factions, and is an extension of the themes you’ll find in the single player game. In Factions you’ll have to pick a side and roll with the Hunters or the Fireflies. Each player starts with a small clan of survivors that you need to keep alive and grow.
The E3 2013 trailer for Puppeteer has been revealed, along with information on the pre-order bonuses. If you are thinking about pre-ordering the game, the Theatrical Pack may take your fancy, and is available from participating retailers. The pack will come with some special DLC goodies including the original soundtrack and PSN avatars.
This week on the North American PlayStation Store you can find a handful of new PS3 games and a number of new PS Vita games. Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been added to the Instant Game Collection if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber. You can also find the usual content on the Store too, including new DLC, PS3 themes, game videos and more.
Remember Me is out today in North America, and as a result, the launch trailer for the game has been released. Dontnod Entertainment has also listed five reasons why you should pick up the game. The launch trailer reveals some never before seen art from the game too.
Following on from the North American release date, Beyond: Two Souls has now been given a firm release date for the UK. CVG reports that a Sony representative has confirmed that the game will be releasing in the UK on October 11th 2013. However, a firm European release date wasn’t mentioned – only the UK date.
Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus line-up for June in North America, and starting tomorrow, subscribers can download Deus Ex: Human Revolution for free. Tomorrow, you can also get up to 50% discount on a number of titles and DLC. As for the rest of June, subscribers can look forward to Machinarium, Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row: The Third, all coming to the Instant Game Collection.

June 4th PlayStation Plus Update
Sony has partially revealed the list of games you can expect to see at E3 this year, including PS4 titles DriveClub and Killzone: Shadow Fall, along with little heard-of title The Last Guardian, which has been MIA since it was announced. Obviously, the list isn’t complete as Sony will likely have a few new games hidden up its sleeves.
Not making it to E3 this year? Fear not: London will be getting its own indie gaming alternative, which will coincide with the major LA-based gaming convention. Taking place at the Loading Bar in Soho from June 10th – 13th, EToo will feature over 30 game developers showing off their latest games. PlayStation will be in attendance, with Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us playable, as well as innovative platform adventure Rain and some “surprise extras”.
