Ubisoft have announced a patch for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag that will enable the game to render in 1080p natively on the PS4. The game currently runs at 900p, which is upscaled to 1080p at 30fps. The game shipped with 900p resolution, but developers then used xtra time to get the PS4 version running in native 1080p resolution.
Knack Launch Trailer Released

Knack launches on the PS4 in Europe in just under two weeks, and it’s already available in North America. The game has been in development for over three years, with the architect of the PS4, Mark Cerny, as the game’s Director. Knack has the ability to pick up pieces of the environment and grow larger, so over the course of a level he can grow from a three foot tall “mascot” type character to a thirty foot tall rampaging monster.

A new video has surfaces showing over 12 minutes of PS4 gameplay from upcoming Metal Gear title, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes. The video was uploaded by GamesHQMedia, with commentary from Sean Eyestone, Co-Producer at Kojima Productions. The footage is taken from a side-mission, which are knows as “side-ops”, so doesn’t give away the main story.
Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Release Date Announced

Square-Enix has announced that the remastered versions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 will be coming to Europe and North America in March 2014. Both titles will be available on the PlayStation Store and through retail stores, with both games bundled together on the PS3. Unfortunately, the release date for the PS Vita versions of the game is still unknown.
Sony Sells Over 1 Million PS4s in 24 Hours of Launch

Sony’s PS4 launch has largely gone off without a hitch, selling over one million units in the first 24 hours. A very impressive milestone considering the console is only currently available in North America. The 1 million units is actually the number of consoles in the hands of customers, and not the number of units shipped.
PS4 Teardown Reveals Additional DDR3 RAM

iFixIt have opened up the PS4 to take a peek inside the box like Wired recently did, however, the component list from iFixIt reveals some surprises not previously mentioned by Sony or noticed by Wired. Along with the 8 GB of dedicated GDDR5 RAM, the PS4 also has an extra 256 MB of DDR3 RAM, suspected to be used for background processes on the secondary processor.
Trine 2: Complete Story Available Confirmed as PS4 Launch Title

Frozenbyte has revealed that Trine 2: Complete Story will be a PS4 launch title in Europe, releasing on November 29th 2013, but is already available for purchase in North America. Along with the announcement, a new trailer for the game has also been released, showing some of the new skills available in the Complete Story version.
Destiny Beta Coming First to PlayStation

Bungie has revealed that the beta for Destiny will be available first on PlayStation platforms, before heading to other consoles. The beta will start on the PS3 and PS4, but to get access you’ll have to pre-order the game at selected retailers. Bungie has also released a new trailer for the game, which you can watch right here.
Uncharted Announced for PS4

Naughty Dog have announced that Uncharted is coming to PlayStation 4, via a teaser trailer (found below). The game is called “Uncharted” for now, with a final name expected to be announced at a later date. The teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much on what the game may be about, but the voice over certainly isn’t Drake, so could there be a new playable character?
inFamous: Second Son Release Date Announced

Sucker Punch has revealed the official release date for upcoming PS4 exclusive, inFamous: Second Son, as well as releasing a new trailer for the game. The game will be releasing on March 21st 2014, which is quite a while away, but at least there are plenty of games available on the PS4 to keep you busy between now and then.
