Sony’s VR headset, currently dubbed Project Morpheus, is currently in the prototyping stages but the technical details of the device are impressive. The technical specification of the developer version of the headset has been revealed following the announcement at GDC.
Race the Sun Coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita
Developers Flippfly have announced that their Race the Sun game, which has been avaialble on Steam for some time, is coming to all three PlayStation consoles. The game will be available on the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita this Summer featuring some “exclusive bonus content”. The game will also support cross-save so you can start the game on any console and continue it on another.
US PlayStation Store Update for March 18th 2014
Lots of new content has been added to the US PlayStation Store this week, with four new PS4, four new PS3 and three new PS Vita games available to download. New games include Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster, and Stealth Inc. Ultimate Edition.
Sony Announces Project Morpheus – The VR Headset for the PS4
At GDC 2014, Sony announced Project Morpheus, a prototype virtual reality (VR) system that works with PS4, and the next innovation that will change the future of games. The VR device is still a prototype at this point, but the current model of Project Morpheus features a head-mounted display with 1080p resolution and new 3D audio technology that re-creates stereoscopic sounds in all directions and changes in real-time depending on your head orientation.

If you have turned on your PS4 in the last day, you’ll have noticed that a new firmware update is now available. Sony has released the minor firmware update to improve “Operation quality during use of some PlayStation 4 software”. Basically, the firmware doesn’t do much except improve stability of some apps.
New Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Trailer Released
Square Enix has released yet another trailer for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for the PS3 and PS Vita, which releases this Friday on both platforms. The new trailer is titled “An Epic Tale” and has footage on both games, including a very brief summary of the story from Final Fantasy X.
Xbox One’s Titanfall Leads UK Games Chart
Xbox One exclusive Titanfall has landed the top spot this week in the UK Games chart, which has helped increase sales of the Xbox One by 96% compared to the previous week. New entry Dark Souls II debuts on the chart in 2nd position, with South Park: The Stick of Truth falling to third place.
Watch_Dogs will Take Average Gamer 40 Hours to Complete
Jonathan Morin, Creative Director for Watch_Dogs, has revealed that the game will take the average gamer “does free roam a bit” around 35-40 hours to complete. However, to fully complete the game, you’re looking at around 100 hours of gameplay, which is quite excessive.
The Last of Us Surpasses Six Million Sales
Following The Last of Us and Naughty Dog’s five BAFTA awards last week, the team has more good news to share about the PS3 exclusive game. The Last of Us has now surpassed six million sales worldwide, since being released less than a year ago, in June 2013.
Opening Sequence for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster Released
Square-Enix has released a new HD trailer for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster, titled “The Fall of a Great City”. The trailer is actually the opening CGI sequence for Final Fantasy X after an small section of gameplay, where the city of Zanarkand is destroyed during a game of Blitzball.
