The PS4 is continuing to sell well across the world, with the latest figures from Sony revealing that 7 million units have been sold globally as of April 6th 2014. In terms of software, more than 20.5 million PS4 games have some at retail and on the PlayStation Store as of April 13th 2014.
EU PlayStation Store Update for April 16th 2014
Lots of new content is available on the PlayStation Store today, with new PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games, including Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Collector’s Edition (PS4) and The Sly Trilogy (PS3, PS Vita). New DLC content for all three PlayStation platforms are available too.
Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition Gets a Blu-ray Release
Minecraft has been the PlayStation Store’s most popular downloadble title on the PS3 for the past few months, with over 1.5 million downloads so far. Following the game’s massive success, it will now be getting a Blu-ray version in PAL regions from May 14th 2014.
PSN Network Maintenance on 21st April 2014
Just when you thought you can have a nice long weekend playing games, Sony decides to schedule some PlayStation Network maintenance right Easter Monday. A tweet (which has since been removed) states that the PSN will be down for maintenance for 12 hours starting on Monday afternoon.
Final Fantasy XIV PS4 Launch Issues
You would think that after the two PS4 betas and the launch issues experienced with the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix and Sony would take extra precautions that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV would be successful. However, once again the game is experiencing issues, with many gamers unable to play the game.
inFamous: Second Son Sells a Million Units In 9 Days
inFamous: Second Son released on the PS4 on March 21st 2014, and in just 9 days, managed to sell a million units. Sony revealed that worldwide sales of both the Blu-ray and digital version of inFamous: Second Son exceeded 1 million units as of March 29, 2014.

A variety of new content has been added to the European PlayStation Store this week, with a number of new PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games. New games include LEGO The Hobbit, the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV, and Football Manager Classic on the PS Vita.
The Last of Us Remastered Confirmed for PS4
Sony has (finally) confirmed the existence of The Last of Us for the PS4, which will be called The Last of Us Remastered on the next-gen console. The PS4 has helped Naughty Dog remaster the PS3 game in 1080p resolution with a list of upgrades including higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, along with even more improvements.
US PlayStation Store Update for April 8th 2014
New content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with new PS4, PS3, and PS Vita games available for purchase. LEGO The Hobbit is available to download on all platforms, and Child of Light is available for pre-order on the PS4 and PS3.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for March 2014
Sony has released the PlayStation Store chart for Europe, revealing the top selling games on the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. As expected, inFAMOUS Second Son was the top selling title on the PS4, while Minecraft is still the top selling PS3 title for the forth month running.
