A new firmware for the PS4 has been released, updating the system software to v1.71. You will be prompted to update your console the next time you boot it up, or if you’re lucky, the update will have already been installed for you. The update is mandatory, which means you console must be updated before you can play online.
EU PlayStation Plus Line-up Confirmed for June 2014

SCEE has confirmed the PlayStation Plus line-up for June 2014, which includes Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate (PS4), NBA 2K14 (PS3) and Dragon’s Crown (PS Vita). Like the US, Europe is also offering two games for the PS4 in June – the second title is Trine 2: The Complete Story. June’s six games will be available to download next week, on June 4th 2014.
US PlayStation Plus Gets 2 Titles Per Month for PS4, PS3, PS Vita

June 2014 marks PlayStation Plus’ 4th anniversary. To celebrate, SCEA will be offers two PS4 games instead of the usual one. The Instant Game Collection will also see a number of changes in July, including the way titles are updated and how long they’re available until.
Gran Turismo 6 Update v1.08 Now Available

Polyphony has released a free update to Gran Turismo 6, updating the game to version v1.08. The update includes both the Mitsubishi Vision GT and Senna Tribute. The update adds the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision GT to the game, which can be purchased from within the game, or unlocked for a limited time only by completing the dedicated Mitsubishi Vision GT Seasonal Event.
Battlefield Hardline Announced, Coming This Autumn

EA has announced the next game in the Battlefield series, which will be fully revealed at their E3 press conference on June 9th. The game will be called Battlefield Hardline, and will be launching in Autumn. The game is a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, and will focus on the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.
EU PlayStation Store Update for May 28th 2014

New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with the biggest edition this week bring Watch_Dogs on the PS4 and PS3, and Borderlands 2 on the PS Vita. Three new games are available on the PS4, four new games on the PS3 and five new games on the PS VIta.
The Order 1886 Delayed Until 2015

The Order 1886 was set to release later this year, but as with many games with lengthy development times, it’s been delayed and will now release in Early 2015. Sony has decided to spend extra time on the development of the game to give it more polish, but will be making an appearance at E3 in June.
PlayStation Plus Content for June 2014 Leaked

The PlayStation Store has accidentally leaked June’s PlayStation Plus line-up with a sidebar advert. The advert has since been removed, but not before we got a peak at the upcoming content. The AAA game of the month on PS3 is NBA 2K 14, while Dragon’s Crown will be coming to the PS Vita.
US PlayStation Store Update for May 27th 2014

New content is available on the PlayStation Store this week, with a number of new games available to download. The biggest addition this week is PS4 and PS3 title Watch_Dogs. Five new games are also available on the PS Vita, including Lemmings Touch, and The Sly Collection.
What’s Included in the PlayStation Plus Edition of DRIVECLUB

DRIVECLUB is releasing on the PS4 in October 8th 2014, and will be coming to the Instant Game Collection in a limited form. The PlayStation Plus edition of the game will essentially be a extended demo of the game, with the option for gamers to upgrade to the full version.
