Sony has just announced yet another bomb shell at their E3 Press Conference. The company has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will be coming to the PS4 this Autumn, and will allow existing PS3 and Xbox 360 owners to transfer their existing data to the PS4 version.
YouTube Functionality Coming to PS4
Sony has revealed at it’s E3 Press Conference today that YouTube integration is finally coming to the PS4. YouTube will be added along-side the existing Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and UStream services, allowing users to upload game footage to their YouTube channels.
LittleBigPlanet 3 Announced for PS4
Sony has just announced LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PS4, complete with a live gameplay demo of the game. The game will introduce three new companions to help Sackboy through his new adventure: Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop. Each of the characters feature unique abilities to assist Sackboy.
Play Destiny Alpha Build This Thursday
Andrew House has just announced at the Sony E3 press conference that Destiny will be playable on the PS4 this Thursday. An alpha build of the game will be available for gamers to try out, with a proper beta scheduled for July 17th 2014.
Battlefield Hardline Multiplayer Footage Released, Beta Available Now
Visceral Games and DICE took to the stage at EA’s E3 Press conference earlier today to reveal some new Battlefield: Hardline footage. The cops-and-robbers shooter will include a grand single player campaign, and will also support a 32-player online mode. The beta for the game is also now available for PS4 and PC.
Resogun Gets Heroes DLC Next Month
PS4 launch title, Resogun, will be getting DLC content next month, titled Heroes, along with a patch to the game. The DLC will introduce two brand new modes called ‘Survival’ and ‘Demolition’. The patch will be available on June 23rd 2014, with the Heroes expansion available from June 25th for €4.99.
Sony’s E3 Press Conference Less Than 12 Hours Away
Sony’s E3 Press Conference will be live-streamed later today from E3. You will be able to watch the live stream from Sony’s dedicated E3 Hub Page, starting from 2am BST, and 3am in Europe (CET). We’re hoping Sony will have some massive announcements for the show, including a launch date for PlayStation Now (and hopefully a European beta too).
Sony Overtake Nintendo In Console Sales
It has emerged that Sony has become the global number one console manufacturer, beating previous global leader Nintendo, who has led the race for the past seven years. According to Nikkei reports, the combined sales of Playstation hardware reached an impressive 18.7 million units for the year ending March 2014.
Top PSN Sellers for May 2014 in North America
SCEA has released the PlayStation Store chart for May, revealing the top selling titles across all three consoles. On the PS4, Watch_Dogs was the best selling title, having been released towards then of the month. On the PS3, Minecraft is still going strong, dominating the chart yet again.
PS4 Getting Free-to-Play Shooter Loadout
The PS4 is getting a new free-to-play shooter called Loadout, developed by Edge of Reality (The Sims 3, Mass Effect Trilogy). Loadout is a game that lets you concoct the weapon of your dreams and/or nightmares from hundreds of component parts, and share their payloads with your friends in fast-paced matches, with violently comedic results.
