Sony has announced that The Playroom will be getting some free DLC tonight in the form of AR Studio. The DLC was first announced back at E3 2014, and allows users to further customise their surroundings for broadcasts, by adding virtual banners, animations and more. The DLC was originally titled “Set Maker”, but has since been renamed to the more fitting title of AR Studio.
PES 2015 Releasing on November 13th, Demo Available in September

Konami has revealed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will be releasing on the PS4 and PS3 on November 13th 2014, almost 3 months after the start of the new season. Luckily, a demo of the game will also heading to consoles, and will be available next month, on September 17th 2014. This year’s cover star for PES 2015 is World Cup winner Mario Gotze, who secured Germany’s World Cup win against Argentina.
PS4 Share Play Sessions are Limited to 1 Hour

Sony’s new Share Play feature is coming to the PS4 as part of Firmware v2.0, which is scheduled for release sometime in the Autumn. However, new information about the feature has come to light, which confirms that Share Play sessions will be limited to 60 minutes per session. But, there is no limit in how many sessions a player can have.
Battlefield Hardline Gets New Trailer, Second Beta Announcement

EA has released a new trailer for upcoming cops and robbers shooter Battlefield Hardline. The game was recently delayed into 2015 after gamer feedback from the initial beta, but that hasn’t stopped EA from showing off the new Rescue mode, which is essentially hostage rescue with no respawns. Players take role of either the cops of members of the drug ring that are holding the hostages captive.
inFamous: First Light Includes Arena Mode and Platinum Trophy

Sony and Sucker Punch has revealed more details about the first DLC pack for inFamous: Second Son. inFamous: First Like is a prequel to the game, which takes place two years before the events in Second Son, with the player controlling Fetch and her neon powers. In the game, Fetch has her own side quests to complete, separate from the main scenario, and she even has her own version of blast shards to collect.
EU PlayStation Store Update for August 13th 2014

New content is available in Europe this week, with three new PS4 games, two PS3 games and three new PS Vita games. New games include Hohokum (cross-buy), Risen 3:Titan Lords (PS3), and Gravity Crash Ultra (PS Vita). You can also find new PlayStation Plus discounts, and DLC for all three platforms.
Gamescom: Tearaway Unfolded Announced for PS4

Porting MediaMolecule’s Tearaway to another console would have been impossible due to the specific nature of the controls on the PS Vita. However, the DualShock 4 offers the closest set of controls for the game, which is why a modified version of the game is coming to the PS4 next year. Tearaway Unfolded in a expanded version of the original game, adapted for the PS4 and rebuilt from the ground up to use the unique features of the DualShock 4.
US PlayStation Store Update for August 12th 2014

New content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with three new PS4 games, three new PS3 games and six new PS Vita games, including Hohokum (cross-buy), Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed (PS3, PS Vita) and Risen 3: Titan Lords (PS3). You can also find new DLC content for the PS3 and PS Vita, and some new themes and avatars for the PS3.
PS4 Breaks 10 Million Sales
It’s been a while since Sony revealed sales figures for the PS4, with the last update coming in April 2014. At Gamescom last night, Sony revealed that the PS4 has now sold in excess of 10 million units worldwide, with more than 30 million PS4 games sold since launch – less than nine months ago. The PS4’s journey is just beginning, and there are still lots of amazing games coming later this year, which is sure to give the PS4 a further boost.
Gamescom: PS4 Firmware v2.0 Announced

Sony announced the next major firmware update for the PS4 at it’s Gamescom conference, detailing a few of the new features we’ll see in Firmware v2.00. Unfortunately, the firmware didn’t get a firm release date, but Sony did mention that its scheduled for release this autumn. The update will include YouTube support, supporting both video uploading using the Share button, and playback via a dedicated YouTube App.
