Evolution Studios continues to update the community on the server issues plaguing the game since launch. The latest update states that the majority of players should be able to connect and play online now, but the multiplayer mode still isn’t 100% yet. In fact, more server updates and upgrades are still in the works to improve connectivity further.
FIFA 15 continues to top the UK Games Chart for another week, but The Evil Within has made an impressive debut, entering the chart in second. It’s also no surprise that DRIVECLUB has dropped down the chart, moving from fifth place last week down to eighth this week, slipping past Destiny, which is holding on to seventh position.
Evolution Studios have issues another update on DRIVECLUB and the server issues affecting online gameplay. Evolution has released a new update (v1.04) for the game, and mentions that more servers and new upgrades are still coming online hour-by-hour, so you can expect improvements to server connectivity.
Sony has revealed more of the features coming to PS4 firmware v2.00, which is coming this Autumn. The firmware update was first announced back in August at Gamescom, with the highlight being “Play Share”. Now Sony has revealed more of the features that will be added to the PS4 in the new update.
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with lots of new PS4 and PS3 games, and a handful of new DLC for each console. New games this week include Alien: Isolation (PS4), In Space We Brawl (PS3, PS4), and Minecraft (PS Vita). You can also find new PS Mobile games and new Deals of the Week.
Evolution has release another update for DRIVECLUB, which has been available for over a week now, but still suffering from server issues. The latest update reveals that online friendly leaderboard and now up and running, and online connectivity has been improved to allow more players to connect.
There is a massive update to the US PlayStation Store this week with 10 new PS4 games, 11 new PS3 games and 8 new PS Vita game added. New games include The Evil Within (PS4, PS3), In Space We Brawl (cross-buy), Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (PS3) and Minecraft (PS Vita). You can also find lots of new DLC, new PlayStation Now games and a large selection of themes and avatars.
Previously, the Glacier White PS4 has only been available as part of game bundles, including Destiny and DRIVECLUB, but it will finally be available by itself this Friday, October 17th 2014. The price of the console hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s likely to sell for the same RRP as the current black model of £349.99. Amazon is currently retailing the Glacier white console at just over £350.
Evolution has posted another update on DRIVECLUB, and the server issues that have been affecting the game since launch last week. The studio has stated that an update will be rolling out to servers today, enabling more of the online modes in the game. However, the studio still doesn’t have an update on the PlayStation Plus Edition of the game.
LittleBigPlanet 3 has been delayed by a week in Europe, the developers have revealed, “to give Sackboy the best opportunity to shine.” The game will now be releasing on November 26th 2014 in Europe, but the North American version will still be releasing on November 18th 2014.
