Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity, which is releasing on November 11th 2014. The new trailer is quite an epic one, revealing a major plot twist in the game (spoiler alert). In the new trailer, called “Time Anomaly”, you see hero Arno in Paris when the time simulation collapses and ends up in an different era.
DRIVECLUB Update: “Majority” of Racers Can Now Get Online
Even after weeks of sever updates and optimisations, Evolution Studios still cannot get every racer to connect to the DRIVECLUB servers. The latest update from the studio says that the “majority” of gamers can now get online, which means issues still exist.
Ubisoft Announce Second Closed Beta for The Crew
Ahead of The Crew’s December 2nd 2014 release date, Ubisoft is planning to hold a second closed beta to test out the game. The beta will let you explore the entire United States with no loading screens and access all the missions and challenges in the Midwest area.
EU PlayStation Store Update for October 29th 2014
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, with eight new PS4 games, ten new PS3 games and three new PS Vita games added. You can also find new DLC content and over ten new PS Mobile games for the PS Vita and compatible mobile devices. The YouTube app is available for the PS4, and Live from PlayStation is available for the PS Vita too.
Destiny Gets “The Dark Below” Expansion Pack in December
Destiny is getting it’s first expansion pack in December, Bungie has revealed. Dubbed The Dark Below, the expansion pack features new weapons and gear, and new story, co-operative, and multiplayer activities. The DLC will be available form December 9th 2014, for a hefty price of £19.99 (without the season pass).
Battlefield: Hardline Gets Confirmed Release Date
Following the Battlefield: Hardline beta in July, EA delayed the release of the game into 2015 to allow the developers to spend more time improving the game. EA has now confirmed that the game will be launching in North America on March 17th 2015, followed by a European release on March 19th 2015.
Tutorial: Changing the Theme on the PS4
With the release of PS4 Firmware v2.00 yesterday, the PS4 now supports custom themes. The firmware update lets you change the background and icons on the PS4 using themes downloadable from the PlayStation Store, or you can change the colour of the default “flow” dynamic background.
US PlayStation Store Update for October 28th 2014
Lots of new content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with nine new PS4 games, eight new PS3 games and five new PS Vita games. You can also find new pre-orders, new additions to PlayStation Now, including inFAMOUS 2 and House of the Dead 4, and lots of new themes and avatars to customise your PS4, PS3 or PS Vita with.
FIFA 15 Tops UK Games Chart for Fifth Week
FIFA 15 continues to lead the UK Games Chart for another week, making it five weeks in a row. In other changes, Minecraft: PlayStation Edition has managed to climb 7 places to finish in 2nd place, while Destiny has also gained a few places to end in forth. The problematic DRIVECLUB has dropped out of the Top 10, finishing in 11th position.
PS4 System Software Ver. 2.00
PS4 Firmware v2.0 is now available to download, and we’ve pulled the official changelog from the PS4 to reveal all the features and changes added to the PS4 in this update. In addition to the previously announced features like Play Share, USB Music Playback and YouTube uploading, the firmware also makes changes to the notification popups, changes to the settings menu and more.
