Three new deals are available on the PlayStation Store, as the third day of Sony’s 12 Deals of Christmas begins. For the next 48 hours, you can get over 50% off Battlefield 4: Premium Edition (PS4, PS3) and Danganronpa 2 (PS Vita).
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, including eight new PS4 games, eight new PS3 games and five new PS Vita games. December’s Instant Game Collection is also live, featuring Injustice Gods Among Us, Secret Ponchos and Titan Attacks.
Lots of new content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with 8 new PS4 games, three new PS3 games and two new PS Vita game. New games include The Crew, Final Horizon and Game of Thrones Episode 1. December’s PlayStation Plus games are also live, giving you access to six new games as part of the Instant Game Collection.
Sony has released another minor update for the PS4, updating the system software to v2.03. The minor update is mandatory to install and does nothing more than improve system stability during use of some features. You will be prompted to install the update next time you boot up your console.
Kotaku is reporting that the next Assassin’s Creed title will be set in London, and will be called Assassin’s Creed: Victory. Victory will take place in the Victorian Era, but details about the exact part of the Era, the protagonist and story are still unknown. Kotaku also reports that this will be the only game from the franchise releasing in 2015.

To celebrate PlayStation’s 20th Anniversary, Sony has announced a limited edition PS4 console to mark the occasion. The PS4 Anniversary Edition will be limited to just 12,300 units worldwide, and will come in the same ‘Original Grey’ finish as the original PlayStation, packaged in a commemorative box and priced at €499.
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars was first released on the PS3 in 2008, and now after 6 years and more than 2 million downloads, it’s long-awaited sequel, Rocket League is coming to the PS4 in Spring 2014. The sequel will feature improved graphics, a new season mode and lots of other improvements.
GTA V‘s return to the top of the UK’s Games Chart was rather short lived, as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has returned to the top. GTA V has fallen to third place, while FIFA 14 has climbed two place to finish in second. DRIVECLUB has made a miraculous return into the top 10, climbing from 33rd to 8th place.

Over the next 24 days, you’ll see 12 festive discounts on the PlayStation Store, feating massive discounts on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games. The first discounts are already available, and includes 50% off on The Last of Us Remastered on the PS4.
