The European PlayStation Store has been updated with new content today, although this week’s update is DLC heavy. You can find four new PS4 games, along with August’s Instant Game Collection, which includes Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and God of War Ascension.
Vote to Play Announced, Lets PlayStation Plus Subscribers Vote for Free Games

Sony has announced a new feature exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers: Vote to Play. The new feature lets subscribers vote on several as-yet unreleased PS4 games to be included in the upcoming month’s game line-up. Although it won’t be a monthly feature, it gives games the power to choose which free game they want to receive.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Special Edition Revealed

Sony has unveiled the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Special Edition, which will be releasing in October 2015 alongside the standard edition of the game. The Special Edition includes a 48-page The Art of Uncharted Trilogy artbook, a steelbook cover for the game and a handful of stickers. Purchasing the collection will also give you exclusive access to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta.
PlayStation Plus August Line-up Available Tomorrow

New PlayStation Plus content will be available to subscribers in North America and Europe tomorrow, following the weekly PlayStation Store update. August’s games include Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (PS4), God of War Ascension (PS3) and Sound Shapes (cross-buy). As a result, last months games, including Rocket League will be removed, so be sure to download any games you’ve missed.
Sony Reports 25.3M PS4’s Shipped, Increase in Profits

Sony is continuing it’s road to financial recovery, having recently reported an increase in profit for Q1 2015. Sony has report $780 million operating profit, up 39% compared to last year, and mostly thanks to the success of the PS4. Sony’s games devision was obviously the most profitable part of the company, reporting 350% increase in profits to $147 million.
PS4 System Software Ver. 2.57

PS4 Firmware v2.57 is now available to download, and is required to access the PlayStation Network. The update itself is a minor one, improving system stability and fixing bugs with the System Software. The official changelog can be found below.
EU PlayStation Store Update for July 21st 2015

New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with seven new PS4 games, one new PS3 game and two new PS Vita games. New games include Journey (PS4), Skullgirls 2nd Encore (PS4), Deadpool (PS3) and Hatoful Boyfriend (PS Vita). You can also find new DLC for all three PlayStation platforms.
PS4 Cloud Storage Needs to be Increased

With a PlayStation Plus subscription, games get 1 GB of cloud storage included in the subscription plan, letting you back up your savedata. The space is sufficient for the PS3 and PS Vita, where savedata is much smaller (usually a few megabytes per game), but the same can’t be said about the PS4. As I recently found out, many PS4 games have far larger data saved, filling up your cloud storage quickly.
Game of Thrones: Episode Five Releasing July 21st 2015

Telltale Games has announced that Episode 5 of it’s Game of Thrones series will be releasing next week, starting with the PC release, and Xbox and PS4 versions to follow shortly afterwards. Episode 5 is titled A Nest of Vipers and is the penultimate episode in the series. A trailer for the upcoming episode has been released, which you can find below.
PlayStation Now Open Beta Starts in UK Today

Over the past few months, Sony has been testing the PlayStation Now game streaming service in the UK, but with selected gamers only. However, as of today, the beta is now available to all gamers. The service lets you stream selected PS3 games to your PS4 and other PlayStation Now compatible devices, with compatibility eventually coming for the PS3 and PS Vita.
