Konami have revealed a Special Edition PS4 to accompany their upcoming title Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The Crimson Red PS4 will feature Phantom Pain branding on the PS4 (500 GB version) and DualShock 4 controller. A copy of MGS V: The Phantom Pain Special Edition will also be included, featuring exclusive items.
GTA Online Gets Double Money and RP on 4th July Weekend
Starting today, you can get double GTA$ and RP in Grand Theft Auto Online to celebrate America’s Independence. The double money and RP will be available until July 6th 2015, and you can also get 25% off everything sold by merchants across Los Santos including the original Independence Day inventory, vehicles, ammo, and more.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for July 2015 Confirmed
Sony has revealed July 2015’s Instant Game Collection, which will go live on the PlayStation Store on July 7th 2015 (next week Tuesday). The line-up includes new title Rocket League (PS4), rain (PS3) and Entwined (PS4/PS Vita). Going forward, all future PlayStation Plus updates will take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
PS4 System Software Ver. 2.55
PS4 Firmware v2.55 is now available to download, and is required to access the PlayStation Network. The update itself is a minor one, improving system stability and fixing bugs with the System Software. It’s worth noting that this update has caused a bug with reading discs, in particular, when ejecting the disc while the console is on stand-by mode.
US PlayStation Store Update for June 30th 2015
New content is available on the US PlayStation Store, with six new PS4 games, three new PS3 games and five new PS Vita game added. New games include Red Goddess: Inner World (PS4), Quiplash (cross-buy with PS4, PS3) and Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth3: V Generation (PS Vita).
EU PlayStation Store Update for June 30th 2015
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store today, and going forward, you can expect all weekly updates to now happen on Tuesdays (inline with North America). You can find four new PS4 games, one new PS3 games and four new PS Vita games on the Store this week, including Bombing Busters (PS4) and TorqueL (PS4, PS Vita).

PlayStation Network in Europe Suffering from Slow Download Speeds
The European PlayStation network is experiencing slower than usual download speeds according to users, and Sony has confirmed the report. This means that if you’re downloading a game or patch, it will take longer than usual to complete. Sony is aware of the issue and is currently investigating.
EU PlayStation Store Update for June 24th 2015
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with 14 news games available for the PS4, seven new games and three new games for both the PS Vita and PSP. New games include Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4), Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward (PS3, PS4) and SteinsGate (PS3, PS Vita).
PSN Maintenance Scheduled for June 30th 2015
Sony has announced that scheduled maintenance on the PlayStation Network will take place next Monday / Tuesday, mainly affecting North America gamers. The maintenance will take place on Monday, June 29th, from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM Pacific Time (12:00 AM to 2:00 AM Eastern Time).
