EU PlayStation Store Update for October 20th 2015
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, with 12 new PS4 games, two new PS3 games and four new PS Vita games added. New games this week include Madden NFL 16 (PS4), and Assassins Creed Syndicate (PS4). This week’s update also includes a bunch of new DLC for the PS4.
PS4 Gets New Lower Price in Europe
Following on from the North America price cut, SCEE has announced that the PS4 is also getting a price cut in Europe. Effective from today, the 500GB PS4 will now be available for €349.99/£299.99 (RRP) across Europe and Australasia. It’s good news for those thinking about getting a PS4 for Christmas, and is sure to boost sales of the console.
PS4 System Software Ver. 3.10
Sony has released PS4 Firmware v3.10 this morning, adding support for verified PSN accounts and adding more stickers. It’s a minor update for the system software, and unfortunately it’s mandatory, so you will need to update your console before you can access the PlayStation Network.

Top PSN Sellers for September 2015 in North America
Following suit with Europe, SCEA have released the PlayStation Store download chart for September 2015, showing the top downloaded games and content for all PlayStation platforms. The top three PS4 games for September are exactly the same as Europe, with Destiny: The Taken King beating MGSV and FIFA 16.
Universal Media Remote Announced for PS4, Available this Month
Sony has announced that the PS4 will finally be getting a Media Remote later this month in North America. The Universal Media Remote will let you turn on the system, navigate the UI, and control video content on apps like Netflix or on Blu-rays and DVDs more easily than using the DualShock 4 controller.
