The PlayStation Now service has just had a major update in Europe, bringing 29 games from Capcom and SNK. The new additions include titles from blockbuster franchises like Devil May Cry and Resident Evil. PlayStation Now is also available in Belgium and Netherlands as of this week too.
Rumor Alert: No Man’s Sky Delayed
A report from Kotaku last night reports that one of this year’s anticipated games, No Man’s Sky, has been delayed. The game, which will be releasing on PS4 and PC, was expected to release on 22nd June 2016, but two sources have told Kotaku that the game has been delayed with no new release date.
US PlayStation Store Update for 24th May 2016
The US PlayStation Store update this week is considerably larger than Europe’s one, with nine new PS4 games, one new PS3 game and two new PS Vita games added. New games include Overwatch (PS4), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan (PS4, PS4) and Downwell (PS4, PS Vita). You can also find new DLC for a various PS4 and PS3 games.
PES 2017 Announced for PS3 and PS4
Konami have announced the latest annual instalment of Pro Evolution Soccer, which will be coming to range of platforms including PS4 and PS3. PES 2017 will also come with a host of improvements, which have been detailed on the official website, including Adaptive AI and improved visuals.
Gran Turismo Sport Coming to PS4 in November 2016
Gran Turismo Sport has been revealed by Polyphony Digital, and will releasing on 16th November 2016 (18th November in the UK). The game is available to pre-order now from both PlayStation Store and retailers across Europe, and is available in a variety of Editions.
Sony Expects to Sell 20 Million PS4 This Fiscal Year
Sony have shared their forecast for this fiscal year’s expected PS4 sales, which ends on 31st March 2017. In the forecast, Sony is hoping to sell 20 million units, which is an increase of 8.3% on last years figures. In comparison, Sony sold 17.7 million PS4s during fiscal year 2015, exceeding it’s 17.5 million forecast for that year.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 24th May 2016
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, including seven new PS4 games and two new PS3 games. New games include Overwatch (PS4), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan (PS4, PS3). A handful of new DLC is available for Overwatch too.
Uncharted 4 Sells Over 2.7 Million Units in First Week
Naught Dog and Sony have announced that PS4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has sold more than 2.7 million units in the first week of sale. This includes both Blu-ray disc and digital sales as of 16th may 2016 across the globe. The huge sales also makes Uncharted 4 the fastest-selling first party title on the PS4 in North America.
PSN Scheduled Maintenance on 25th May 2016
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, 25th May 2016 for approximately 2 hours. For those in the UK and Europe, the maintenance window will be begin at 5:30am BST, and end at 7:30am BST.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 17th May 2016
This week’s PlayStation Store update is all about the PS4, with eight new PS4 games available to download immediately, and more available later on in the week. There are no new games available for the PS3 or PS Vita, but you can find new DLC for a selection of PS4 games.
