New content is available on the US PlayStation Store with twelve new PS4 games and five new PS Vita games available for purchase. You can also find new downloadable content (DLC) for a number of games across all three PlayStation Platforms. New games this week include Amnesia: Collection (PS4), Red Faction (PS4) and more.
PS4 System Software Ver. 4.06
Earlier last week, on 17 November 2016, Sony released an update to the system software for the PS4, brining the current firmware version to v4.06. This is a minor update to the software, simply improving the system performance, but it’s a mandatory update. You’ll need to update your PS4 to v4.06 before you are able to access the PlayStation Network and play online.
The Last Guardian Gets New Cinematic-Style Trailer
As we edge closer to the release of The Last Guardian, which has suffered numerous delays, a new CG cinematic-style action trailer has been released for the game. The game is expected to release on 7th December 2016, and the game has recently gone gold, which means it will actually be releasing next month!
Watch Dogs 2 Patch 1.04 Released
Ubisoft have released a new patch for Watch Dogs 2 to fix issues with the game that were identified after launch. The update does not, however, fix the seamless online issue discovered and removed just before launch. The patch also improves compatibility with the PS4 Pro, increasing the game’s performance on the newer hardware.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 15th November 2016
New content is available on the European PlayStaiton with some big new releases this week. On the PS4, you can find the long awaited Watch Dogs 2, and Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection. A total of fourteen new PS4 games were added to the Store this week, along with one new PS3 and two new PS Vita games. Check out the full list here.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for October 2016
October 2016 saw the release of many new titles, including a host of PlayStation VR titles. However, Battlefield 1 finished top of the class beating last month’s top seller, FIFA 17, and other new releases like Mafia III and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. Several PlayStation VR titles made it into the top 20 this month, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End made a re-entry into the chart in 7th place.
Sony Tears Down the PS4 Pro

Sony has released a video showing Keiichi Aoki, Director of Mechanical Design, taking apart the PS4 Pro, piece by piece, and giving you some insight into the console’s internal design and components. The 12 minute video is sure to appeal to engineers and gamers alike.
PS4 Pro Launches Today
The PS4 Pro officially launches to day across North America, Europe, South Africa, Australasia and the Middle East. The new console offers 4K quality visuals, with vibrant, lifelike colours supported by HDR technology (as with all PS4 consoles), smoother performance and faster frame rates. It’s not a replacement for the existing PS4 console, but an enhanced version.

Ubisoft Reveals Details for Watch Dogs 2’s Season Pass
Ubisoft has revealed the first details on Watch Dog 2’s season pass, along with a trailer. The season pass will be priced at £29.99 and will feature additional items and missions to play through. In addition, PS4 owners will get content 30 days before other platforms. The first DLC is expected on December 13th which will include a new co-op level called Mayhem.
