Sony has today retired the Live Events Viewer app on the PS4. Instead, live videos can now be purchased directly from the PlayStation Store. The app was never officially released outside the US, so those in Europe and elsewhere won’t be losing much. In addition, the PS3 won’t be able to receive any Live Events.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 10th January 2017
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store today, with four new PS4 games, one new PS3 game and one new PS Vita games added. You can also find a selection of new DLC content. New PlayStation Plus content has been available on the store since last week, so be sure to download the new games before they’re gone.
New Glacier White PS4 Available on 24th January 2017
Later this month you’ll have the option of an all-new colour variation of the smaller, slimmer and lighter new-look PS4 console. The Glacier White PS4 will be available across the PAL region from 24th January 2017, joining the original black console version. The Glacier White PS4 will come with a 500GB HDD and accompanying Glacier White DualShock 4.

6.2 Million PS4s Shifted Over Festive Season
Sony has revealed new sales figures for the PS4, which sold over 6.2 million units over the holiday season. As of 1st January 2017, the PS4 has sold over 53 million units worldwide. As for games, over 50 million copies, both digital and physical, have been sold for the system worldwide.
PlayStation Plus Games for January 2017 Revealed
Sony has revealed the six new games coming to PlayStation Plus in January 2017, which include Day of the Tentacle (PS4) and Blazerush (PS3). The six new games will be available to download from 3rd January 2017 (next Tuesday), and will be free to all PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Final Fantasy XIV’s Stormblood Expansion Releasing in June 2017
Square Enix has announced the next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, titled Stormblood, will be releasing in June 2017. The expansion will increase the level cap to 70, and is set in the Ala Mhigo region. The original announcement for the expansion was made a few month ago, but you can find the teaser trailer below.

The twelfth and final deal of Christmas is now live on the PlayStation Store, and its for newly released Final Fantasy XV. The Standard or Premium edition can be picked up from the PlayStation Store for £32.99 and £46.99, respectively. The discount is only available for 48 hours.
US PlayStation Store Update for 20th December 2016
