Naughty Dog have released a new trailer for Uncharted: Lost Legacy, and revealing the game’s official release date and price tag. The stand-along game (not part of Uncharted 4) will retail for €39.99/£29.99, and will be available from 23rd August 2017.
Gran Turismo Sport Europe Beta Starts on 15th April 2017
Sony has revealed that Gran Turismo Sport will be getting a closed beta in Europe, starting this Saturday, 15th April 2017 from 14:00 BST. Races in the beta will run at fixed times, which are different for the weekend and weekdays. You can sign-up for the beta here.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for March 2017
March 2017 saw the release of several new games, including new AAA titles Horizon Zero Dawn, and Mass Effect Andromeda. As expected, Horizon Zero Dawn was the top selling title on the PS4 last month, followed by Ghost Recon Wildlands – also a newcomer.
PS4 System Software Ver. 4.55
Sony has released a minor firmware update for the PS4, bring the current system software to v4.55. Unfortunately, the update doesn’t do much except fix bugs with the system. According to the changelog, the update simply “improves the quality of the system performance”.
Jak and Daxter Coming to PS4 as PS2 Classics
Sony has announced that Jak and Daxter are making a return to PlayStation this year, in the form of PS2 Classics for the PS4. Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 will be available on PS4 via download on PlayStation Store, making use pf PS2 emulation to upscale the games to HD, and adding trophy support.
Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy First Episode Available on April 18th
Marvel has confirmed that the first episode for Guardians of the Galaxy: The Tellatale Series will be premiering on April 18th, and the episode is named “Tangled Up in Blue”. The first trailer for the game has also been released (see below). The game will cost £18.99 from the PlayStation Store, but PlayStation Plus subscribers can get it for £15.19.
Final Fantasy XIV Trial No Longer Restricted to 14-days
In a bid to get more players into Eorzea, Square Enix has lifted the 14 day restrictions on the Final Fantasy XIV trial. Previously, prospective players were able to enjoy the game for up to 14 days, after which a subscription would be required. Now, players will be able to enjoy more of what the game has to offer, all the way up to level 35.
Destiny 2 Officially Announced, Releasing in September 2017
Activision has officially revealed Destiny 2, which is scheduled to be release this September. The first trailer has been released for the game (see below), and a public beta has also been announced for 18th May – players who pre-order the game will get the first chance to play the beta.
PlayStation Plus Games for April 2017 Revealed
Sony has revealed the full PlayStation Plus line-up for April 2017, which adds six new for subscribers to download for free. Alongside previously announced Drawn to Death, subscribers can look forward to 10 Second Ninja X (PS Vita, PS4) and Alien Rage (PS4).
EU PlayStation Store Update for 28th March 2017
The EU PlayStation Store has been updated with lots of new content, including a massive 22 new PS4 games, and one new PS Vita game. New games include MLB The Show 17, Rain World and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix. Alongside the new games, you can also find DLC for Final Fantasy XV, Mafia III, and Dark Souls III.
