With the price of PlayStation Plus going up in Europe at the end of this month, Sony is giving subscribers a reason to extend their subscriptions early by offering 15 months for the price of 12. You will be able to “stack” your existing subscription by 15 months for £39.99.
The US PlayStation Store Charts have been revealed for July 2017, revealing the top selling digital titles in North America. Similar to the European Chart, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was the top selling title in the US, followed by Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. And just like Europe, Superhot VR took the top spot for PlayStation VR chart.
Telltale Games has revealed that the second episode in Season 2 of Minecraft: Story Mode will be arriving this month. The new episode, titled “Giant Consequences” will release on all platforms on 15th August 2017. The new episode sees Jesse and the gang embark on a new adventure into the icy unknown.
July’s PlayStation Store Chart has been revealed by Sony Europe, revealing July’s top selling digital games. And for the second month running, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has topped the PS4 chart, beating the various other newcomers. On the PlayStation VR, newcomer Superhot VR was the top seller.
Sony has updated the European PlayStation Store Summer Sale with a raft of new discounts on games to enjoy. A number of new games have joined the sale including Horizon Zero Dawn (£29.99) and Wipeout Omega Collection (£19.99), along with Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4 (£19.99) and The Last of Us (£15.99).
A Limited Edition Destiny 2 DualShock 4 controller has been revealed for Europe, and will be releasing on 6th September. Unfortunately, it won’t be available in the UK, Poland or Russia. Also, new Jet Black PS4 Pro bundle has been revealed along-side the previously announced Glacier White bundle.
Sony is bringing the cost PlayStation Plus in the UK and Europe in-line with the rest of the world in August, increasing the cost of all subscription levels. Sony America increased the price of PlayStation Plus back in September 2016, and in August, Sony Europe will be following suit.
Sometimes it’s surprising to see just how the North American and European markets vary to each other. Sony has released the PlayStation Store chart for June 2017, revealing the top selling digital title on the PS4: Friday the 13th: The Game. It beat newcomer Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which was the top seller in Europe, which came in 2nd.
After being available on PC and Mac for the best part of three years, The Sims 4 is finally making the jump to consoles. The game will be available in two editions when it launches on the PS4 and other consoles this November: Standard Edition and Deluxe Party Edition.
The PlayStation Plus games for August 2017 have been revealed, and it includes two great titles for the PS4. Six new games will be available on 1st August, and include Just Cause 3 (PS4) and Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4) – both are rather good games. Lets hope this is a good indication for future games too.
