The September 2017 charts for the PlayStation Store have been revealed and it’s no surprise who has topped the chart. FIFA 18 was the top selling game in Europe, pushing Destiny 2 into 2nd place. On the PlayStation VR, Superhot VR continues to lead the chart.
PS4 System Software Ver. 5.00
The latest major PS4 Firmware update is out of beta and available to download to everyone. This new update continues to improve the system software by allowing gamers to customise their friends list, easily manage family member accounts, and makes further changes to Notifications, including colour customisation.
Destiny 2 Scheduled Maintenance Set for Tuesday, 3rd October 2017
Another week and another round of scheduled maintenance for Destiny 2. Bungie has confirmed that servers will be offline on Tuesday, 3rd October from 4 PM (BST), and lasting until 8 PM (BST). Players will have until 5 PM to complete their online games before being booted off the servers at 5 PM (BST).
Updated PlayStation VR Headset Announced
An updated model of the PlayStation VR headset has been revealed in Japan, featuring improved cable management and HDR video pass-through. The updated model (CUH-ZVR 2) will be bundled with the PlayStation Camera and will be releasing in Japan on 14th October 2017.
PlayStation Plus Games for October 2017 Revealed
October’s PlayStation Plus games line-up is another great one for subscribers, which includes six new games, and two existing bonus games. Among the line-up, you’ll find Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Amnesia: Collection, both for the PS4.
Top PSN Sellers for August 2017 in North America
There were a number of new releases in North America on the PlayStation Store last month, and Sony has released the PlayStation Store chart showing the top selling titles. On the PS4, Madden NFL 18 was the top seller, beating UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy and the other new releases.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 26th September 2017
New content is available on the PlayStation Store today, including over 20 new PS4 games, a new PS3 game and a couple of new PS Vita games. New games this week include FIFA 18, EVE: Valkyrie Warzone and Chernobyl VR Project. You can also find new DLC for a few games, including Friday The 13th: The Game.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 19th September 2017
New content has been added to the European PlayStation Store, with over 20 new PS4 games and five new PS Vita games available for purchase. Final Fantasy IX Out Today on PS4
Final Fantasy IX is coming to the PS4 today with additional features, including trophies and high-definition support. Destiny 2 Offline for Maintenance Today
Destiny and Destiny 2 will both be offline this afternoon for scheduled maintenance. The downtime will be begin at 3pm BST, and will be completed at 7pm BST today. After the maintenance, Update v1.0.1.3 will be available for download, although no details on the content of the patch have been released.
