According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, the Sony Interactive Entertainment Chief, John Kodera, has said that the PS4 is entering the final stage in it’s lifecycle. This means the number of units sold will start to decline, and the lifecycle will end in March 2021.
PS4 System Software Ver. 5.55

A minor PS4 firmware update was released on 17th May 2018, updating the PS4 to version v5.55. Although a minor update, this update is mandatory to access the PlayStation Network. The changelog for this update can be found below.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 Announced with August 2018 Release

Konami has announced the annual iteration of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). PES 2019 will be releasing on 30th August 2018 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The cover will feature Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona), but a David Beckham special edition will be available too. Check out the announcement trailer below.
Rage 2 Gameplay Trailer & Details Released

Bethesda have released a gameplay trailer for Rage 2, which will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2019. Developed by Avalanche Studios in partnership with id Software, it features a character known as Walker, the last Ranger in the wasteland who’ll go up against The Authority, much like in the first game.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 15th May 2018

New content is available on the European PlayStation Store today, with over twenty new PS4 games available for purchase. Notable games this week include the PS4 version of Dragon’s Crown Pro, the Onrush beta and Wizard of Legend. You can also find a handful of new add-on content.
Sony’s E3 Press Conference on 11th / 12th June 2018

Sony’s E3 press conference has been scheduled to take place on 11th June 2018, at 6PM PDT. For those in the UK and Europe, that means 12th June 2018 at 1 AM BST or 3 AM CEST. This year’s press conference will focus on four of Sony’s biggest first-party titles, but third-parties will also join the stage to reveal their latest projects.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for April 2018

Sony has released the PlayStation Store chart for April 2018 in Europe, and it’s no surprise what the top selling title was. God of War was the number one seller in April, breaking the record for the quickest selling first-party PS4 title. The previous number one, Far Cry 5, dropped to second place.
God of War Gets Photo Mode in Free Update

Kratos and Atreus can now get their selfies on in God of War thanks to a new update. Santa Monica Studio has released a free update to God of War, which adds Photo Mode. Once the update is downloaded you’ll be able to take snaps from the game, including the ability to change Kratos and Atreus’s facial expressions.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 8th May 2018

Avengers Infinity War Event Comes to Fortnite

Epic Games and Marvel have partnered up to bring a Avengers crossover to Fortnite. The event is titled “Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup” and adds a new Infinity Gauntlet mode to the game. This new mode places the Infinity Gauntlet on the map, which will transform any player who manages to find and equip the artifact it into Thanos.
