After four years of development, Quantic Dreams has announced that Detroit: Become Human has gone gold. The game is now ready to go into production and eventually ship to stores, in time for the 25th May 2018 release date. A demo of the game is available from the PlayStation Store too.
Sony’s PlayStation Plus line-up for May 2018 is a good one with two popular PS4 titles joining the Instant Game Collection. Beyond: Two Souls is one of the two PS4 titles coming next week, developed by Quantic Dreams, who is releasing Detroit: Become Human in less than a month.
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store, with over fifteen new PS4 games and one new PS3 game, and three new PS Vita games added this week. Notable additions this week include the Detroit: Become Human playable demo, The Swords of Ditto and VR title Just In Time Incorporated.
We’re a bit late in publishing the US PlayStation Store chart but here it is anyway. In March, the top selling PS4 game was Far Cry 5. The previous number one, Monster Hunter: World, dropped way down the chart into 9th place. On the PS VR, Moss was the top selling title, which managed to climb up the chart since last month’s 7th place debut.
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week with fourteen new PS4 games and one new PS Vita game available for purchase. The biggest release this week is God of War (PS4), which will be available to download on Friday, 20th April 2018. You can also find some new DLC content in this weeks update.
Sony has released a new minor firmware update for the PS4 today, updating the system software to v5.53. The update is approximately 440 MB and allows you to make changes to how much data is collected from your PS4, presumably in relation to the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe, which comes into effect on 25th May 2018.
The PlayStation Store charts for Europe have been revealed, revealing the top selling titles in April 2018 in Europe. The PS4 has two strong debuts last month, with new release Far Cry 5 topping the chart, followed by another newcomer A Way Out.

20 years since the first Spyro game was released on the PlayStation, the purple dragon is making a return with Spyro Regnited Trilogy for the PS4. The original PlayStation games will be remastered with high-def graphics, improved controls and a host of improvements.
Sony has announced the line-up of games coming to PlayStation Plus in April 2018. The new games will be available to download after the long Easter weekend, from 3rd April 2018. On the PS4, you can look forward to Mad Max and Trackmania Turbo.
