Sony has released the PlayStation Store chart for April 2018 in Europe, and it’s no surprise what the top selling title was. God of War was the number one seller in April, breaking the record for the quickest selling first-party PS4 title. The previous number one, Far Cry 5, dropped to second place.
God of War Gets Photo Mode in Free Update
Kratos and Atreus can now get their selfies on in God of War thanks to a new update. Santa Monica Studio has released a free update to God of War, which adds Photo Mode. Once the update is downloaded you’ll be able to take snaps from the game, including the ability to change Kratos and Atreus’s facial expressions.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 8th May 2018
New content is available on the European PlayStation Store this week, with over 20 new PS4 games and bundles available for purchase. This week’s update is all about the PS4, and includes Conan Exiles, Destiny 2 DLC “Warmind” and Floor Plan VR. Check out the full list of new content below.
Avengers Infinity War Event Comes to Fortnite
Epic Games and Marvel have partnered up to bring a Avengers crossover to Fortnite. The event is titled “Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup” and adds a new Infinity Gauntlet mode to the game. This new mode places the Infinity Gauntlet on the map, which will transform any player who manages to find and equip the artifact it into Thanos.

New content has been added to the PlayStation Store this week, with over fifteen new PS4 games available for purchase, and a handful of DLC content. Notable games this week include Battlezone Gold Edition, City of Brass and Bunny Must Die!.
God of War Becomes Fastest Selling First Party Exclusive on PS4
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that God of War has become the fastest selling first party title on the PS4. The game sold 3.1 million copies worldwide in just three days, which also includes digital sales. The previous (known) record holder was Uncharted 4, which sold 2.7 million copies in the first week.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer #3 Released
Rockstar Games have released another trailer for upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2, which is scheduled for release on 26th October 2018. This third trailer focuses on the game’s story, and giving you a glimpse of the various characters, environments, and snippets of gameplay.
Detroit: Become Human Goes Gold
After four years of development, Quantic Dreams has announced that Detroit: Become Human has gone gold. The game is now ready to go into production and eventually ship to stores, in time for the 25th May 2018 release date. A demo of the game is available from the PlayStation Store too.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for May 2018 Revealed
Sony’s PlayStation Plus line-up for May 2018 is a good one with two popular PS4 titles joining the Instant Game Collection. Beyond: Two Souls is one of the two PS4 titles coming next week, developed by Quantic Dreams, who is releasing Detroit: Become Human in less than a month.
