Sony has updated the PlayStation Store listings for three old PS3 games, indicating that the online functionality will be going offline on this month. The servers for Warhawk will be shutdown first, which will go offline on 15th October 2018, followed by PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Twisted Metal on 25th October 2018.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 2nd October 2018
The European PlayStation Store has been updated today with lots of new games and downloadable content. New games this week include Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission, WWE 2K19 and over ten other PS4 games. New PlayStation Plus content is also available to download today.
PS4 to get Cross-Platform Play Starting with Fortnite Beta
After some recent backlash from fans and game developers, Sony has announced that cross-platform play is coming to the PS4 after “a comprehensive evaluation process”. The first game to support cross platform play on the PS4 is Fortnite, with a “open beta” now available to PS4 gamers.
PlayStation Plus Line-Up for October 2018 Revealed
The list of new games heading to PlayStation Plus in October 2018 has been revealed. Six new games will be available to subscribers on Tuesday, 2nd October 2018, which includes Friday the 13th and Laser League on the PS4. Be sure to grab September’s games before they are removed from the store.

The European PlayStation Store has been updated with over 25 new PS4 games and a couple of new PS Vita games. New games this week include FIFA 19, Tekken 7, Jack N Jill and more. This week’s update also includes lots of new add-on content for various PS4 games.
Life is Strange 2 Launch Trailer Released
The launch trailer for upcoming title Life is Strange 2 has been released by Dontnot Entertainment. Similar to the first Lift is Strange game, the sequel will be released in episodes, with the first of five episodes releasing on 27th September 2018. An all new story will playout in the upcoming game, which follows the journey of two brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz from Seattle to Mexico.
PlayStation Now Users Can Download Games for Offline Use
Sony has announced that PlayStation Now users will be able to download games to their PS4, on top of being able to stream them over the internet. The feature is gradually rolling out to users starting today, and will be available to all users soon. One of the advantages of downloading a PlayStation Now title is that you don’t need PlayStation Plus to play online.
Sony Launching PlayStation Classic in December 2018
Sony is relaunching the original PlayStation in the form of PlayStation Classic. The mini console will come pre-loaded with 20 of the best games from the original PlayStation Console, including Final Fantasy VII, TEKKEN 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms and more to be announced. The PlayStation Classic will launch on 3rd December 2018 for £89.99 / €99.99.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season’s Episode 2 Available Next Week
Just over six weeks after the release of Episode 1, Telltale Games is releasing the second episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season. The upcoming episode is titled ‘Suffer the Children’, and will be available on all supported platforms on 25th September 2018. Checkout the trailer right here.
