The European PlayStation Store has been updated today, adding new games and content to the catalogue. This week’s update adds over 30 new PS4 games, including Battlefield V, Farming Simulator 19, and Rush VR. The update also includes new add-on content. Checkout the full list of new content below.
Sony Will Be Absent from E3 2019
Sony has revealed that it will not be attending the E3 event in Los Angeles, which will be taking place in June 2019. This is the first time in the 24 year history of the event that Sony will not be attending, leaving its two biggest competitors to make the most of the event.
Top PSN Sellers for October 2018 in North America
October 2018 was a huge month in terms of new releases. The PlayStation Store charts for October have been released for North America, revealing the most purchased titles. On the PS4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was the top selling title, followed by Red Dead Redemption 2, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 13th November 2018
The European PlayStation Store has been updated with new content this week. Over 20 new PS4 games have been added to the store, including Battlefield V, Fallout 76 and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. There’s also plenty of new DLC in the store this week, including The Sims 4 Seasons.
Top PSN Sellers for October 2018 in Europe
The PlayStation Store chart for October 2018 has been revealed in Europe, detailing the top selling digital titles. On the PS4, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was the top selling title, but was followed by Red Dead Redemption 2 in second place having been on sale only for a few days last month.

Take-Two Interactive has released their earnings report for the past quarter, ending September 30th 2018. The report reveals that Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 sold 17 million copies worldwide in only 8 days. In fact, the sequel sold more copies than the previous game sold in its lifetime.
Future Final Fantasy XV DLC Cancelled and Director Leaves Square Enix
Square Enix has announced that future DLC for Final Fantasy XV have been cancelled, including Episodes Aranea, Noctis, and Lunafreya. Episode Ardyn is still in development and will be released in March 2019, while the multiplayer expansion Comrades will be released as a standalone title.
PS4 System Software Ver. 6.10 (Beta)
Sony has started sending out emails to join the PS4 Firmware 6.10 beta test. The new firmware doesn’t include any major consumer-facing features, but it does include the ability to change your PSN ID. The changelog for the firmware update can be found below.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 6th November 2018
New content will be available on the European PlayStation Store later today, which includes over 20 new PS4 games and a handful of new add-on content. New games this week include Hitman 2, Tetris Effect, and PS VR adventure Déraciné. New DLC includes the Summit Striker Pack for Fortnite, and content for WWE 2K19, and other titles.
Sony Delays Server Shutdown of Warhawk, Twisted Metal to January 2019
Earlier last month, Sony announced that the online servers to several old PS3 title would be shut down in October 2018. Sony has now decided to delay the shutdown to January 2019, meaning gamers will have a few more months to enjoy titles include Warhawk, Twisted Metal, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, and Sound Shapes.
