Following in line with the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy, Activision has announced the rename of Crash Team Racing. The new game will be called “Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled”, and will try and stay true to the original PS1 game that was released back in 1999, but with improved graphics, new character models and online multiplayer.
50 New Games Join PlayStation Now this Month
Sony has some good news for PlayStation Now subscribers – a massive 50 games are being added to the library this month, including For Honor, Raiden V: Director’s Cut, and more. The new additions mean PS Now’s library features over 600 titles to play at the click of a button.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 4th December 2018
New content will be available on the European PlayStation Store tomorrow, with over 30 new PS4 games added. This week’s update includes the long awaited PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Just Cause 4, and several new PlayStation VR titles. This week’s DLC includes new content for Assassins Creed Odyssey, Tekken 7, GT Sport, and more.
PlayStation VR Mega Pack Bundle Revealed, Available Next Week
A new PlayStation VR bundle has been revealed by Sony: the PlayStation VR Mega Pack. The bundle includes the PS VR headset, PS Camera and voucher codes for five acclaimed PS VR games, including Astro Bot Rescue Mission, WipEout Omega Collection, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for December 2018 Revealed
The final PlayStation Plus update for 2018 has been revealed, and includes six new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers to download from 4th December 2018. On the PS4, subscribers can look forward SOMA and Onrush, along with games for the PS3 and PlayStation Vita.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Available to Pre-Order on PS4
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally heading to the PS4 in December 2018, after being exclusively available on PC, Xbox One and mobile. The PS4 version of the game will release on 7th December 2018, and is now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Multiplayer Beta Starts Today
Rockstar has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2‘s online mode will start to roll out this week, with a beta starting for some users today. The roll out will be staggered to avoid early teething issues, with owners of the “ultimate edition” of the game getting access first.

New games become available on the European PlayStation Store later today, with over 20 new PS4 games releasing this week. Notable games this week include Darksiders III, Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, Ride 3 and several new PlayStation VR titles. You can also find new DLC for various games in this week’s update.
Sony Shutting Down PlayTV Services for PS3
Over 10 years after it’s release, Sony has announced that it is shutting down the online services for PlayTV on the PS3. PlayTV was a hardware device and app that allowed users in Europe to watch live over-the-air TV on the PS3, and included the ability to record shows, pause and rewind live TV.
PS4 Fifth Anniversary Infographic Reveals Over 86 Million PS4 Sold Worldwide
To celebrate the PS4’s fifth anniversary, Sony has released a infographic revealing some interesting statics about the console. As of September 2018, 86.1 million PS4 units have been sold worldwide. which means over 12 million units were sold since Christmas 2017.
