Adam Grant, the European Product Manager for PSPgo, was kind enough to answer some questions over on the EU PlayStation.Blog that users had. The answers revealed some new information about the new PSP model, including built-in battery, no compatibility for existing PSP accessories and battery life. Although most questions were answered, a few importants ones were left out including a UK price, the ability to transfer existing UMD games to the PSP Go and the price difference between UMD and downloadable versions of games. PlayStation Store Update for June 11th 2009
This week’s PlayStation Store is a huge one for both Europe and the US. There are a number of new downloadable games available on both stores as well as new playable demos. VidZone is now available to download in Europe too. There is plenty of new game add-on content too, including the new Killzone 2 map pack: Flash and Thunder, new LittleBigPlanet costumes, Saints Row 2 content and more. VidZone Out Today In Europe
SCEE has announced that VidZone, the on-demand music video service for the PlayStation 3, will go live in Europe later today. The free service gives you the freedom to view thousands of music videos on demand by streaming them directly to your PS3. It will launch with more than 10,000 videos with major music labels as well as thousands of independent artist getting on board, and will be supported with on-screen advertising.
PSP Firmware v5.51 On The Way
A new PSP Firmware update will be available to download soon. The minor update will address system software stability issues during use of some features. Other than that, nothing new has been added to the software update. You will need to update to the latest version in order to access the PlayStation Store on your PSP.

Qore Episode 13 Delayed
The next issue of Qore has been delayed due to revision of content. Episode 13 was expected to launch last week to coincide with E3 and the announcement of the PSP Go!. As you may have read, the Qore feature covering the PSP Go! was leaked last month prior to the official announcement. “We are currently revising the content of the episode to bring you the most up-to-date information,” states the email from Sony.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Multiplayer Beta Impressions
The Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta is currently underway until June 28th 2009 and we were lucky enough to get invited to join in through our GAP membership as well as being a Qore subscriber. We spent a few hours over the weekend playing the game to bring you our thoughts.
PlayStation Video Store Update For June 5th 2009
This week, a new “Inspired by Video Games” section has been added to the US Video Store, featuring movies and TV shows that first dazzled the video game world before they lit up the big and small screens. Now, you can download all the action, stunning visuals and spectacular sequences, brought to you by PlayStation Network. As for regular content, there are loads of new movies and TV shows now available to download (check out the list below).
Sony To Offer Digital Copies For Old UMD Games
If you are planning to upgrade to the PSP Go! this October, you’re probably wondering what will become of all those UMD games you’ve purchased over the years. Although the UMD format will continue, you won’t be able to use them on the PSP Go! unless you have digital copies of the game. Its looks like Sony has already come up with a solution. According to John Koller, “We’re in the midst of putting together a good will program. […] So we’re looking at a short term good-will program that would continue for years afterward.”
PlayStation Store Update for June 4th 2009
This week’s regular PlayStation Store update in now live. Final Fantasy VII is now available on the European PlayStation Store and the second special episode of Pulse is available to download from the US Store. Both stores have received new downloadable games and playable demos. As there were two other PlayStation Store updates this week, the usual weekly update is much smaller than normal – check out the complete list of new content below.
