For a limited time only, all Call of Duty: World at War map packs are half price on the PlayStation Store. The first Brütal Legend downloadable pack will hit the PlayStation Store on November 5th 2009. Dubbed The Tears of the Hextadon, the pack will include two new multiplayer maps: The Circle of Tears and Death’s Fjord, as well as the Blade of Ormagöden axe, courtesy of the fine folks at Double Fine, Sony, and EA. In addition, the DLC will be available for free for two weeks.
Warhawk has been around for long, but it continues to live. Recently, the multiplayer-only title reached 1 million players, according to the in-game leaderboard. The title has been around for over two years and was originally released in Summer 2007. The game has been well supported with three content packs released, each adding new maps and features to the game.

This year at GamesCom, SCEE announced the latest addition to the PlayStation entertainment experience – the PlayStation Network video delivery service. The service will be launching in France, Germany, Spain and the UK this November, allowing movie fans to download the latest releases straight to their PlayStation 3 and PSP for viewing at home or on the go.
The PlayStation Video Store is about to get some serious competition. Sony has confirmed that Netflix’s online movie streaming service will be coming to the PlayStation 3. Monthly subscription to Netflix on your PS3 will cost you $8.99. At this rate, you can then watch movies and TV episodes all you want. If you’re a Netflix member, though, you’ll be glad to know that you will be able to stream movies for free initially after the launch of the service.
If you are looking to give your trophy collection a boost, here are some games that contain trophies that are easy to obtain as well as titles that have easy Platinum trophies. Now, not all of the below games are worth buying and others are must-have games (see our recommendations below), so we recommend you rent some of these games to save yourself some money. Fat Princess has been updated to version 1.03. Patch 1.03 contains the awesome New Pork city level, and due to the amazing support from the community, Titan Studios have decided to release the map for free. The patch also includes various fixes and tweaks to make the game better than ever. In addition to the patch, Titan has also released a Fat Princess demo, so if you haven’t tried the game, now you can.
Lets face it, this week’s PlayStation Update was below average for Europe. While the US got the Uncharted: Eye of Indra Motion Comic and the Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time demo. Even the NBA 2K10 demo has been pulled from the European Store. However, if Mike Kebby, PlayStation Store Team member at SCEE, is to be believed, next week’s update will be huge. The R&C Future demo will be out in Europe next week and the Rock Band: Beatles Abbey Road DLC is scheduled for next week too.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 has only just been released and already there are talks of downloadable content. The PES Production team posted an article on the Konami Blog stating, “We’ll be adding downloadable updates and content shortly – free of charge of course – so watch out for those.” There was no mention of what kinds of downloadable content would be release so we’ll leaving the speculation to you.
The MAG Public Beta has received a client update, bringing the version to v1.30. his new MAG Public Beta release includes over 8,000 updates and fixes, too many to list in detail, but we’ve included some of the significant changes below. If you are not yet a part of the MAG Public Beta there is still time. If you pre-order MAG at GameStop in the US or EB Games in Canada you receive access to the MAG Public Beta.
