Epic Game has revealed that Fortnite will support next-gen consoles from launch, and has detailed the improvements the game will receive to support the upcoming consoles. Fortnite will be available on the PS5 when the console launches on 12th / 19th November 2020.

PS5 Pre-Orders Could Be Affected in UK As Second Lockdown Announced
The government yesterday announced a second COVID-19 lockdown in England, UK, due to start on Thursday, 5th November 2020, and lasting until Wednesday, 2nd December 2020. With the Xbox Series X|S and PS5 both launching during this period, pre-orders may be affected.
