At the Tokyo Game Show last week, Team Ico showed off a brand-new trailer for The Last Guardian depicting a variety of real-time gameplay footage. In addition to announcing the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3, Team Ico also revealed that The Last Guardian has been scheduled for release in 2011.

Blu-ray 3D Disc Playback Support Coming Next Week

Firmware v3.50 will be available to download next week, and will come with 3D support for Blu-Ray movies. For those that have purchased 3D TVs, the firmware update will be available to download on September 21st 2010. The new firmware update will effectively make all 38 million PS3s worldwide compatible with 3D Blu-Ray discs.

Devil May Cry was officially announced for the PlayStation 3 at the Tokyo Game Show by Capcom. The title has been reborn as DmC, and is being co-developed with British-based Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory. The game is still shrouded in mystery, with few details relating to the setting, the combat mechanic, the demonic enemies, or a release date.

The next update to the title will add support for stereoscopic 3D and, improving the graphics and sense of immersion to a whole new level. In addition to 3D support, you will also be able to use the new PlayStation Move controllers.

The PlayStation Move is out to own later this week, and Sony have released some new TV adverts to promote the new controller. The new adverts were shown off over the weekend in the UK during Big Brother and in the Everton v Manchester United football game.

Heavy Rain Move Edition will be available for purchase in early October. However, if you already own the game, you will be able to download a free patch that will update your copy of the game to support the Move controllers. A demo of the game will be available to download from PlayStation Store on 15th September.
