The first downloadable content pack for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has been announced: ’Animus Project Update 1.0?. Ubisoft has stated that the DLC pack will feature the new game mode ‘Advanced Alliance’ and the ‘Mont Saint-Michel’ map for Brotherhood’s multiplayer. Best of all, the pack will be free to download.

Digital Comics Update for November 24th 2010

A new publisher joins the PSP Comic Store this week. BOOM! Studios is one of the most innovative comic books publishers today, specializing in high-profile projects across a wide variety of genres. This week they bring us 28 Days Later. Another highlight is Marvel’s mini-series Ultimate Iron Man (2005) #1-5, revealing Tony Stark’s early life and origins.
PSP Firmware v6.35 Available Soon

A new PSP Firmware Update will soon be available. Bring the system software to version v6.35, the minor update prepares the PSP system for the upcoming launch of “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity” – a new, cloud-based, digital music service from Sony that will give music lovers access to millions of songs stored and synchronized through the cloud.
Gran Turismo 5 Patch v1.01 Available to Download

Ahead of the official release date for Gran Turismo 5, a patch for the title has been released. The game isn’t officially out until tomorrow, but the patch enables the online portion of the game and adds lots of new features mainly revolving around the internet community.
VUDU Application Available Now

If you live in the US, you can now download the VUDU application which allows you to stream cinema-quality movies in the comfort of your home theater, complete with full 1080p HD with 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus sound. The movies are available on-demand and you only pay for the movies that you watch. Also, when you sign up for a VUDU account, you will receive a $5.99 credit on your account for one free HD rental.
Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition Unboxed

Development On PS3 Version of Final Fantasy XIV Now Complete

Since Final Fantast XIV was delayed on the PS3 a few months back, we haven’t heard much about the game. Citing “memory issues”, the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV was delayed to March 2011. But according to the latest issue of Famitsu, however, Square Enix has finished development of the PS3 version and is looking to make a fresh start for the MMO.
GT5 6.4GB Install Is Optional

Building on our story from last week about GT5 taking up 6.4GB of hard disk space, we have learned that the option is actually optional and not a requirement to play the actual game. According to Sony, however, even if you choose not to install any data at the beginning of the game there’s a built-in auto-install feature that does it in incremental chunks.
