For the last few months, Ubisoft have been working on bringing the first three Splinter Cell games – Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory – to the PS3. Splinter Cell and Sam Fisher don’t need an introduction; these three games are highly acclaimed games and it has been a great pleasure for us to work on these titles.
Back in February Guerrilla Games revealed that they were working on a brand-new DLC Pack for Killzone 3 called Steel Rain. Today, the developers announced that the pack is finished and slated for a PlayStation Store release on Tuesday, April 12. Steel Rain consists of two explosive new multiplayer maps inspired by locations from the single player campaign.
FirstPlay Episode 52 goes on sale this week, marking the 1st anniversary since the launch of the interactive magazine. It’s surprising that FirstPlay has lasted a year – over the last 52 episodes, not a lot has changed especially when compared to Qore. What ever happened to all that free content they promised? The Mushroom Wars Online DLC is now available to download from the PlayStation Store for $2.99, while the original Mushroom Wars is available on PSN for $9.99. Mushroom Wars Online introduces the ability to spread fungal domination into the online realm with four-player online multiplayer support.
DC Universe Online had added another free batch of new downloadable content that will introduce you to former Gotham City District Attorney-turned crime boss Harvey Dent (aka “Two-Face”) in the sinister new installment. Also included in this update is the final part to the Batcave raid where you level 30 players will be face-to-face with the caped crusader.

Launching over the next two weeks across many European and Global markets is the Xperia PLAY from Sony Ericsson. Xperia PLAY is an Android powered smartphone and the first PlayStation Certified device. It is optimised for a gaming experience and featuring dedicated gaming controls, L/R shoulder buttons and the familiar PlayStation symbol action buttons.
If you don’t already know, Sega is releasing Mega Drive titles on the PlayStation Network, with the first titles appearing on the store today. PlayStation Plus users can download Sonic the Hedgehog from the store today, and can expect a further five more titles over the next few months.
Starting today, Sony’s free-to-play MMO hits the PlayStation Store. Free Realms was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and is completely free to play. Players can take on endless amounts of roles including ninjas, warriors, or wizards, while participating in a variety of activities such as adventuring for treasure, playing a soccer game, decorating their player house, or even entering a demolition derby!
