The Jak and Daxter are coming to the PS3, making their debut in February with the launch of the Jak and Daxter Collection. The Jak and Daxter Collection features three of the Jak and Daxter titles – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. All the games have been remastered in 720p high definition and full stereoscopic 3D.
According to a recent SCEE press release, Naughty Dog blockbuster Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, sold 3.8 million units in its first day alone. In comparison, Battlefield 3 recently shifted 5 million units in its launch week all three available platforms. Seeing that Uncharted 3 is a PlayStation exclusive, this is a phenomenal achievement.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and Vodafone have today announced a partnership that will see Vodafone as the preferred provider of 3G connectivity for PlayStation Vita initially in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and The Netherlands, and with Vodafone’s Partner in France (SFR).
After many, many months of hard work, the Starhawk Private Beta will finally be going live on on the PlayStation Network from tomorrow, November 22nd. A selected a number of loyal Warhawk players who have opted-in to receive PlayStation emails will receive Private Beta keys in the upcoming weeks.
Can you believe that tomorrow marks the five-year anniversary of PlayStation 3’s launch in North America. Don’t forget… The PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 on Thursday 17 November until 02:00 GMT on Friday November 2011. During the maintenance, you will be unable to access any PlayStation Network services including the PlayStation Store and Account Management areas.
The PlayStation Store will be loaded with a new DLC pack for your multiplayer adventures with Drake and crew. The new DLC pack comes with Killzone 3 skins for the multiplayer component of the game. If you are a member of the Uncharted Fortune Hunter Club, you will be able to download this new pack for free.
As you must know by now, PlayStation Vita will be hitting shelves across the PAL region from 22 February 2012.
