On June 25th 2012, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) published an updated Executive Appointment list revealing that key Sony staff have stepped down from their previous positions. For one, Kazuo Hirai has stepped down as Representative Director and Chairman but continues his role as CEO of Sony as whole.

The goal of the Beta is to get feedback on the overall experience, including reporting bugs and improvements to make the game better.
A financial report published by Japan’s National Printing Bureau indicates that Sony Computer Entertainment are running a ¥95 billion deficit (approx £764 million, $1.3 billion). Sony has had a poor run of luck with poorly performing first party games, natural disasters and the hacking of the PSN over the past year.

The second episode of Telltale Games’ game based on Robert Kirkman’s Eisner Award-winning comic book series, The Walking Dead, is coming to the PlayStation Store this Friday. Season pass holders can download the game for free or you can pay $4.99 to download the episode individually.

Dead Nation is getting a new expansion pack in North America today, with Europe to follow tomorrow. The expansion pack, called Arcade, adds a brand new game mode to the Road of Devastation expansion pack, letting gamers play a kind of survival mode, but with check-points.
Ubisoft have confirmed that Far Cry 3 has been delayed until the November in Europe and December in North America. The game was originally scheduled to release in September across both regions. Ubisoft have said the extra time is needed to polish the game.
The actress, known for her role in Californication as Lizzie; Claudette in True Blood; and as Kate Middleton in made-for-TV movie William & Kate, has been revealed as the voice behind Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider game. Camilla Luddington also provided motion capture acting for the game too – the first time the same actress has bee used for both roles.
Capcom has announced that its latest IP, action RPG Dragon’s Dogma, has shipped over one million copies to retailers, since the title was released toward the end of May. Of course, it doesn’t indicate the actual number of units sold, but it does mean there is a huge demand for the game.
