Sony has announced, in Japan at least, that PS2 titles will be coming in a steady stream as downloadable titles on the PlayStation Store. The service, knows as “Game Archive”, will see new titles being added to the Store at regular intervals, with the first update planned for July 25th.

Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the GT series, has confirmed that Polyphony Digital are working on more DLC for Gran Turismo 5. Speaking to the Spanish PlayStation.Blog, said that ‘future improvements’ for the series may include an event editor and they are even thinking of a ‘story mode’.

Digital PSN Games May Become Transferable After European Court Ruling

PSN Downloads may become transferable in the near future after a European Court ruling. The European Court today confirmed that end-users are legally allowed to sell on second hand digitally downloaded video games. This could mean that Sony will make PSN titles transferable to comply with the ruling.

According to the LinkedIn profile of Attila Vass, who used to be the Director of Research & Development at SCEA, the “Next Generation” PlayStation has been in development for almost two years. Picked up by VideoGamer, the profile claims that they were working on the graphics library and security on “Next Generation” platforms way back in August 2010.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Added to EU Instant Game Collection

While the US has received three new titles in the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, Europeans will only be receiving one new title tomorrow. SCEE has confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download Deus Ex: Human Revolution as part of their subscription.

Sony has revealed that two new combatants for PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale will be unveiled at Comic-Con International 2012 on Sunday, July 15th 2012. Three New Games Added to US Instant Game Collection

Last month Sony gave all PlayStation Plus members an Instant Game Collection that included 12 full PS3 and PSN games. This month, three of those games will be replaced with new titles, including Gotham City Impostors and Renegade Ops. Ubisoft have announced a new Limited Edition for Assassin’s Creed III for the PS3. The new edition will be released on October 30th 2012, and will be exclusive to North America and Latin America. The edition is available to pre-order today from selected retailers including GameStop and Amazon.com.
