Rap icon Jay Z has been named as the executive producer for 2K Sport’s latest NBA instalment. Jay Z is heavily involved in the real NBA championship, part-owning the Brooklyn Nets, and will now help in producing NBA 2K13 with his “artistic vision and style.”

EU PlayStation Store Update for August 1st 2012

Problem with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Arctic Strike DLC Fixed
On July 19th, some PlayStation 3 users who bought the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Arctic Strike DLC were experiencing a “DLC Trial Period Expired” error when launching Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Sony has issued a statement on the PlayStation.Blog indicating the issue has now been resolved.
Rock of Ages Confirmed for European Instant Game Collection
PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to get their hands on Rock of Ages as part of the Instant Game Collection. The title will be added to the collection as part of tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update. In addition, Sony will also be revealing an additional title for the collection.
Square Enix Announces Game Line-up for Gamescom 2012
Square-Enix have announced their line-up of games to feature at Gamescom next month in Cologne, Germany. The line-up includes Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs, amongst other titles.
