SuperBot have revealed the first DLC characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and best of all they will be available for free. The two new characters joining the roster are Kat from Gravity Rush, and Emmett Graves from Starhawk. The DLC isn’t quite ready to be shown off, but it’s good to see the developers are already working on content for the game now that the game has gone gold.
Telltale Games has revealed that the fifth and final episode of The Waking Dead will be releasing in North America and Europe next week. The final episode will be online as part of the weekly PlayStation Store updates and will be available to download for free if you’ve purchased the season pass.
Rockstar has released the second official trailer for GTA V, which will most likely be one of the biggest selling games of 2013 if the hype is anything to go by. The trailer shows some gameplay, cutscenes, and the three protagonists, which were first revealed by GameInformer last week.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale releases next Tuesday on the PlayStation Network and across Stores, and the game is now available to pre-order on the PlayStation Store. The game will be released as a “Day 1 Digital” title next week for $59.99 in North America, but this also includes the PS Vita version of the game too.
Sony Japan has posted up a message on their website warning users of the dangers of using custom firmware on their PS3 consoles, dubbing it “malware”. The message (according to Google Translate) also warns that using unofficial software breaks the console’s Terms of Use and may result is the user getting banned from the PlayStation Network.

Despite Devil May Cry not releasing until January 2013, Capcom has announced details of the game’s first DLC pack. Titled Vergil’s Downfall, the DLC pack will lets Dante’s brother Vergil be a playable character in the game. The pack will be available “shortly after launch”.
Sony has released a new multiplayer trailer for God of War: Ascension, this time showing the god of war Ares. Warriors who align with Ares are brute force tacticians dealing a devastating array of physical-based skills up close and personal. These Warriors will also harness magic abilities that unleash a fiery rage, great for close quarters combat.
Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, titled “End of an Era”. This massive 6 minute trailer was released as the servers for the original game were shut down on November 11th 2012, and shows a clash between the forces of the Garlean Empire and the Eorzean Alliance in a battle that will decide the fate of the world.
SCEA has revealed that the PlayStation Network will be going offline for maintenance this Sunday night in North America. The PSN wil be offline for approximately 3 hours on Sunday, November 11th 2012 between 10PM and 1AM PST / Monday, November 12th 2012 1AM to 4AM EST on.
