A new gameplayer trailer has been released for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, showing the game’s multiplayer mode. The short trailer shows various assassins killing others in a variety of brutal ways. The multiplayer mode looks like fun, but it’s not clear how much the mode has changed since the previous games.

Grand Theft Auto V Debuts at Number One in UK Charts
It’s really no surprise that Grand Theft Auto V has debuted on the UK Games Chart at number one, following the game’s record breaking sales last week. The game has knocked down Saints Row IV to fourth place, which previously dominated the chart for the last four weeks. In other changes, The Last of Us has gained a few places in the chart and now the third top selling title in the UK.
Capcom Reveals Deep Down will be Free-to-Play
Capcom has announced that PS4 exclusive title Deep Down will be free-to-play when it releases on the console next year, and that a open beta for the game will be available nearer to launch. The news was confirmed in a tweet by Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida.
Grand Theft Auto V Makes $1 Billion In 3 Days
Grand Theft Auto V has been a massive success for Rockstar Games, having taken in over $1 billion in global retail sales in its first three days on sale. The game became the UK’s fastest selling game, selling 1.57 million units across all platforms. The game made $800 million on launch day on launch day alone through worldwide sales.
Sony Making a Loss on PS4, Expecting Profits from PlayStation Plus and Games
As is usual with new consoles, Sony won’t be making a profit on the PS4 hardware at launch, Eurogamer reports. However, Sony expects some profit from users signing up to PlayStation Plus and purchasing at least one launch title. Sony is selling the PS4 at a loss of approximately $60 a unit – around the cost of a game in the US.
External HDMI Video Capture on PS4 Will Be Available In the Future
Sony has confirmed that the PS4 will let you capture gameplay footage using external capture devices rather than being locked to the system’s Share button. Shuhei Yoshida says the feature won’t be available at launch, but will be opened up int he future, allowing you to edit footage on a PC before uploading to your favourite video sharing service, like YouTube.
Sony Aiming to Sell 5 Million PS4s By March 2014
Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House revealed the sales projections for the Playstation 4 at the company’s keynote at the Tokyo Game Show. House revealed that Sony are aiming to sell 5 million PS4 consoles worldwide by March 2014, by which date the console will be available in every major territory.
Sony Details PS3 to PS4 Game Upgrade Programe
First announced at Gamescom in August, Sony revealed that gamers would be able to upgrade selected PS3 games to the PS4 versions for a small fee, allowing you to play the latest games before Sony’s new console hits the market. Sony has now revealed more details on how this will work. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, NBA 2K14 and Watch Dogs will be supported, with both physical and digital copies.

Sony Demonstrates PS4 Companion App In New Video
A new video has emerged from TGS 2013 showing Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, demonstrate the PS4’s companion application on a Sony Xperia Z. The application lets you view friends’ activities, trophies and stream gameplay videos on the go. The app also features a “Connect to PS4” button, that lets you use the mobile device as a second screen.
