While the PS4’s DualShock 4 has been compatible with the PS3 since launch, it only worked using the USB cable. However, a Reddit has discovered that a recent update now allows the controller to be used wirelessly, though not all functionality is available. You can pair the DualShock 4 as a generic bluetooth input device, which means the PS button, vibration and sixaxis detection do not work.

New Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Trailer Compares SD & HD Versions

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix, which allows you to compare the new HD version against the older SD version. The interactive trailer lets you switch between the HD or SD version, or view a side-by-side comparison of both versions. The game will be releasing on the PS3 on December 5th 2014.
GTA Online Patch v1.15 Adds Independence Day Special

A new patch for GTA V is now available to download, updating the game to v1.15. The patch, better known as the Independence Day Special, brings a slew of new content to help you celebrate July 4th, including a brand new Liberator monster truck, the Sovereign motorcycle and new properties and fireworks.
SCEE Giving Away Movie with PlayStation Store Purchases

Sony Europe is offering gamers who purchase any paid download from the PlayStation Store a free movie download. The movie depends on your region, but you have between 1st July and 31st July 2014 to make a qualifying purchase. You also need to make sure you’re on Sony mailing list – you sign-up here.
The Last of Us Remastered will run at 60fps

Naughty Dog has confirmed, via Twitter, that the Last of Us: Remastered will run at 60fps on PS4 when it releases on July 30th 2014. Naughty Dog directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann took to twitter confirm that the 60fps target has been reached in the game: “@bruce_straley: I had a dream in 60fps last night. #TLOUremastered” what if I told you that was no dream? #believe
inFamous: First Light Release Date Confirmed

Sony has confirmed that the first inFamous DLC, First Light, will be releasing in Europe in August. inFamous: First Light will be a stand-alone DLC that can be enjoyed without owning inFamous: Second Son on the PS4, and will be available to purchase and download on August 27th 2014. It’s likely that the game will be releasing in North America a day earlier, on August 26th 2014.
PlayStation Plus Content for July 2014 Revealed

SCEE has revealed the PlayStation Plus content for July 2014, confirming the six new games that will be coming to the Instant Game Collection next month. Like June 2014’s update, July’s update includes two PS4 games in the collection: TowerFall Ascension and Strider. The line-up also includes two PS3 and two PS Vita games, all available from 2nd July 2014.
Resogun’s Free Update Available Tomorrow

PS4 exclusive RESOGUN will be getting a free update late tomorrow evening (Sunday, June 22nd 2014). The update is free to download for all owners of the game, and lays the ground work for the forthcoming Heroes expansion due on Wednesday which will expand your RESOGUN experience with new modes, game world and more.
Europe Still Suffering from PS4 Shortages

Despite the PS4 launching in Europe in late November 2013 across Europe, the console is still suffering shortages eights months on. Sony is struggling to keep up with demand for the PS4, while Xbox One units patiently sit on shelves waiting for someone to purchase one. “We haven’t yet caught up with the initial demand across Europe.” explained Fergal Gara, Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment UK. “We are still dealing with the day one market.”
Watch_Dogs Patch Now Available

Watch_Dogs has been patched on the PS3 and PS4 to fix a number of issues affecting the game. The patch will also be available on other platforms within the next week. The patch fixed a number of game-breaking bugs, including save data corruption, and issues with hacking within the game.
