Creative Director Alex Amancio presents the technological leap which will allow you to live a unique experience in Assassin’s Creed Unity, and describes the game as a “true next-gen” experience.

Battlefield: Hardline Delayed into Early 2015
DICE has announced that cops-and-robber shooter Battlefield: Hardline has been delayed into early 2015. The game was scheduled for release on October 21st 2014 but has now been pushed back to 2015 following feedback from the recent beta. The extra development time will mean the Visceral Games team will be able to push the game further and make it even better.
Killzone Shadow Fall Gets Two New Multiplayer Maps
Two new multiplayer maps are coming to Killzone: Shadow Fall on the PS4 this week, with North America getting them as part of today’s PlayStation Store update, followed by Europe tomorrow. The two new maps are free to download for all players of the game, and include: The Terminal and Stormgracht.
The Last of Us: Remastered Needs 50 GB HDD Space for Installation on PS4
The Last of Us: Remastered’s street date has been broken by retailers, with photos of physical copies of the game appearing online. The game is just over a week away from release, but the packshot reveals that the game will require 50GB of space on the PS4’s hard disk. The game officially releases on the PS4 on July 29th 2014.
PS4 Tops Xbox One Sales in June, Despite Xbox One Sales Doubling
The removal of the Kinect from Xbox One has prompted a big increase in sales for the Xbox One, but it’s still struggling to catch up to the PS4. According to new numbers from NPD, Sony’s is the top-selling U.S. next-gen console for June, which marks the sixth month in a row it has collected that honor. Despite the price of the Xbox One dropping by $100, Microsoft is still having trouble beating PS4 sales.
Sony Reveal Destiny and The Last Of Us Themed PS4 Systems for Japan
Sony has revealed two game-themed PS4 consoles for the Japanese market: a Glacier White PS4 with simplistic Destiny branding, and a Jet Black PS4 with The Last of Us branding. It’s unclear if either of these console will be available in North America or Europe, but The Last of Us PS4 will be releasing in Japan on August 21st 2014, followed by the Destiny PS on September 11th 2014.
The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 4 Release Date Revealed
Telltale has confirmed the release dates for The Walking Dead Season Two’s fourth episode, titled “Amid The Ruins”. The new episode will be available on PS3 and PS Vita on July 23rd in North America, followed by Europe the following day. In addition, a trailer for the upcoming episode was also revealed (see below).
The Last Of Us Remastered Gets Photo Mode and new DLC
New details about The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4 has emerged, with the game releasing towards the end of this month. CVG picked up on a few tweets by MeriStation journalist Javi Andres, indicating new DLC will be heading to the game in 2014, and there will be an option to lock the framerate to 30fps, with the default set at 60fps at 1080p resolution.
PS3, PS4, and PS Vita Have Collectively Sold Over 100 Million Units
A promotional video from Sony, geared towards third-party manufacturers, has revealed that the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita has collectively sold more than 100 million units to date. At last count, the PS4 has sold around 7 million units since it launched last November, while the PS3 has sold more than 80 million units.
Ubisoft Ships 8 Million Copies of Watch_Dogs
Ubisoft has announced that Watch_Dogs has shipped 8 million copies since the game launched worldwide on May 27th 2014. Unfortunately, Ubisoft doesn’t mention how many of those copies were actually sold, but it will definitely be in the millions. The game set the record for number of day-one sales for a Ubisoft title when it first launched.
