Previously, the Glacier White PS4 has only been available as part of game bundles, including Destiny and DRIVECLUB, but it will finally be available by itself this Friday, October 17th 2014. The price of the console hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s likely to sell for the same RRP as the current black model of £349.99. Amazon is currently retailing the Glacier white console at just over £350.

DRIVECLUB Server Update Expected Today
Evolution has posted another update on DRIVECLUB, and the server issues that have been affecting the game since launch last week. The studio has stated that an update will be rolling out to servers today, enabling more of the online modes in the game. However, the studio still doesn’t have an update on the PlayStation Plus Edition of the game.
LittleBigPlanet 3 Delayed by a Week in Europe
LittleBigPlanet 3 has been delayed by a week in Europe, the developers have revealed, “to give Sackboy the best opportunity to shine.” The game will now be releasing on November 26th 2014 in Europe, but the North American version will still be releasing on November 18th 2014.
DriveClub Patch v1.03 Released
Evolution Studios has released patch v1.03 for DriveClub after spending last week running diagnostics to help with the server issues. The patch updated the game to reduce server load, as well addressing a number of bugs that was causing the game to crash. The servers are still not 100% and the PlayStation Plus edition of the game is still delayed, but hopefully this patch will help in getting there.
FIFA 15 Still On Top After Three Weeks in UK Games Chart
FIFA 15 continues to dominate the UK Games chart for the third week running, with Alien: Isolation in second and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor in third. Despite the server issues, PS4 exclusive DRIVECLUB has debuted in fifth position. If the server issues continue, we doubt the game will remain in the Top 10 next week.
Evolution Running “Essential Diagnostics” to Ease DriveClub Server Issues
DRIVECLUB developer Evolution has said they are “just as frustrated as you about the server performance issues.” They are currently running essential diagnostics to help improve the performance of the servers. What they’re not doing is increasing the number of servers they’re running to allow more gamers to connect.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for September 2014
SCEE has released the PlayStation Store charts for September 2014, revealing the most purchased content last month. Minecraft is still dominating the PS3 chart, but has also topped the PS4 chart after releasing last month. Destiny managed to finish in 2nd position followed by FIFA 15. On the PS3, 2nd place was grabbed by FIFA 15, followed by Destiny.
PlayStation Network Maintenance Scheduled for Monday October 13th 2014
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will be undergoing maintenance on Monday, October 13th 2014, until the early hours of Tuesday. The maintenance window will disrupt your evening gaming session, as the maintenance starts from 6pm BST, and will last until 1am. Sony hasn’t given any indication on what the maintenance will involve, but PSN access will be unavailable.
DRIVECLUB PlayStation Plus Version Delayed at Last Minute
Evolution has announced that the PlayStation Plus edition of DRIVECLUB has been delayed due to issues with the server. However, the full version of the game will be playable, but on the single-player portion. The servers have been suffering following the launch of the North American version yesterday, which obviously means the Evolution didn’t properly test the servers prior to launch.
The Crew Delayed by Three Weeks, Now Releasing in December
Following the The Crew’s closed beta recently, Ubisoft have decided to delay the game until December, so they hold a second beta test to give more players the change to try the game and give their feedback. The game was originally scheduled to release on November 11th, but has now been pushed back to December 2nd – a delay of exactly 3 weeks.
