Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Patch v1.06 Now Available
Naughty Dog has released a new patchs for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for the game’s single-player and multiplayer modes. The bug fixes include safeguards to prevent profile corruption, although previously corrupted profiles cannot be required, and fixes for graphical issues.
Battlefield 1 Gameplay Trailer Released
DICE and EA has released the first gameplay trailer for upcoming shooter Battlefield 1. The game is set during World War I, and the trailer shows a variety of gameplay, including shooting, melee attacks, using vehicles and heave weapons and lots more.
Sony Confirms PS4 Neo Is Coming, More Expensive than Current Model
Andrew House, president and global chief executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has confirmed the existence of the PS4 “Neo” to the Financial Times. House has also confirmed that the “high-end PS4” would be more expensive than the current $350 version.
Watch Dogs 2 Details Revealed, Out on PS4 in November 2016
Ubisoft has officially unveiled details about the second installment in the Watch Dogs series, along with a release date. Watch Dogs 2 will be set in San Francisco and players will play the role of hacker Marcus Holloway, who has been accused by ctOS 2.0 of a crime he didn’t commit.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 Servers Shut Down in August 2016
Konami have announced that the servers for PES 2015 will be shutting down this August, disabling the game’s online functionality as a result. The servers will shutdown on 25th August at exactly 4:00am UTC (5:00am GMT) – just under a month before the PES 2017 is scheduled for release.
Top PSN Sellers for May 2016 in North America
SCEA have released the charts for the top selling games on the PlayStation Store in May 2016, with three PS4 new-comers all debuting in the top 3. It’s no surprise that PS4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has taken the top spot, while Overwatch and Doom finished in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
FIFA 17 Launches in September 2016
EA have announced the annual iteration to it’s FIFA Football title. FIFA 17 will be releasing on various platforms, including the PS4 and PS3, on 27th September 2016. The new game will be fully powered by the Frostbite engine, which promises to deliver “authentic, true-to-life action.”
XCOM 2 Coming to PS4 in September 2016
2K Games have announced that XCOM 2 is heading to consoles in September 2016. The turn-based strategy game, which was previously a PC exclusive, will release on the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th in North America, and September 9th Internationally, with a RRP of £39.99.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for May 2016
It’s no surprise that May’s most downloaded game from the PlayStation Store was Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The game sold over 2.7 million units in the first week and was the top selling digital title on the PlayStation Store in May 2016. Other new entries like Overwatch: Origins Edition and Doom debuted in 4th and 9th place, respectively.
