12 Deals of Christmas: Day 5
Deal 5 of 12 is now live on the PlayStation Store, giving you discounts of up to 40% on Battlefield 1 (depending on which edition you purchase). The standard version of Battlefield 1 is available to purchase for £32.99, while the Delux Edition is £42.99. The Ultimate Edition is available too. You have until midday on 11th December to make the most of this deal.
PS4 Has Sold Over 50 Million Units Worldwide
Back in May, Sony revealed that PS4 sales had exceed 40 million units worldwide. Now, just before the end of the year, Sony has revealed that the PS4 has sold more than 50 million units worldwide – thats 10 million consoles in 6 month. The new PS4 Slim and the release of PlayStation VR in October, followed by the release of PS4 Pro in November have likely helped revitalise console sales.

Return to Final Fantasy XIV for up to 96 Hours until January 4th 2017
If your Final Fantasy XIV subscription has expired, Square Enix are offering ex-players up to 96 hours (up to 4 days) of free play in the MMO game until 4th January 2017. The free play period will start on your first login into Final Fantasy XIV, and will expire at 23:59 (local time) on the fourth day.
The Last of Us Part II Announced
Over the weekend, the sequel to The Last of Us was announced by Naughty Dog. Ellie and Joel will return in The Last of Us Part II for another intense, harrowing, and emotional adventure. The game is currently in development, and it’s still early days. No information was provided on the release date, except that “release is a ways off”, meaning towards end of 2017 or even early 2018.

The digital version of the game is discounted to £17.99 for the next 48 hours, saving you well over 60%. However, the game is available in physical form for even cheaper – like Amazon, where it will cost you just £12.99.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for December 2016 Revealed
Sony has revealed the six new games that will be coming to PlayStation Plus in December 2016, as part of the Instant Game Collection. The six games, which are free to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers, will be available from 6th December, and include Invisible, Inc. (PS4) and Tiny Troopers Join Ops (all platforms).
