A new firmware update for the PS5 has been released, updating the console to v20.02-02.30.00. Along with the usual improvements to system performance, this new update improves connection stability with some Wi-fi routers and other fixes.

Sony have rolled out another firmware update for the PS5 fixing some of the bugs affecting the system since it launched earlier this month. The new update improves system performance and also fixes issues with the front USB ports not working in Rest Mode.

Sony have rolled out the second public firmware update for the PS5, ahead of release in the UK, Europe and Rest of the World later this week. The update is 866 MB in size and “improves system performance” according to the update screen.
