Sony has released a new firmware major update for the PS5, updating the system software to v23.01-07.00.00. The firmware update was recently in public beta testing, but is now officially available to everyone. The update adds a number of features and improvements, including VRR support at 1440p resolution and data transfer between PS5 consoles.
